For sure it’s not a great way to play. And he’s on pace for more sacks than anyone ever in a season… but if he can perform in dire conditions then there really isn’t any excuse for others to not step up.

He's already got a shoulder injury. Couldn't throw at all this week up till today.

That's a huge concern for a quarterback, especially after just one game.

(remember what shoulder issues did to Newton)

Tua is a good example of what a successful Bryce Young will look like. I think Bryce is a little more mobile but both of their arms are NFL average at best. They're gonna win with a quick release, accuracy, anticipation, and timing, not threading the needle with lasers.

He also has elite weapons to work with too. Does this type of skill set require an elite supporting cast at the NFL level? I don't know, maybe.

Not sure why the NFL keeps giving the Patriots Nat'l TV games. Their run is over. Nobody wants to see Mac Jones with no weapons.

BB has been exposed without Brady. He's just another coach at this point.
