Until Reich turns over playcalling this is gonna be a very long season.

Bryce is gonna look bad until he gives it up, I feel bad for him.

Don’t ever disrespect John fox like this. He’s the best coach this franchise has ever had.

Frank Reich is a bad playcaller in todays NFL.  The book on that has been out for sometime. 

and then we somehow hired him and didn’t make it conditional he not keep doing what got him fired in Indy.  And our 60+ year old playcaller is advised by 60+ year old Caldwell.  It’s not an all star coaching staff.  It’s stubborn old dinosaurs.  

everyone knows Frank’s playcalling is an isssue but Frank.   Back tonight just like all those days in Indy….claiming it’s not the playcalling.  Well it’s a big part of it.

He called like one play action and it actually worked. All else was like tecmo bowl poo

I'd give that title to Rivera over Fox, honestly.

Other than BS the media, there was not a thing ron rivera did better than John fox. This guy went to a Super Bowl and another nfc championship game with jake Delhomme as his QB. I love jake, but he’s not the caliber QB you expect to win super bowls with.

guy took a 1 win team and won 7 in his first season with Rodney Peete as his QB and had the leagues 2nd ranked defense. He went to the Super Bowl in year 2. Year 3 they lost their most electric player in Steve smith and arguably their best defensive player Kris Jenkins in week 4. They still won 7 games and were back in the conference championship again in year 4.

fox never won less than 7 games outside his final season where Jerry Richardson sabatoged him and the team for the “shield”. He did this with the likes of Jake Delhomme and Matt moore. John fox was an outstanding coaching and wasn’t just the best coach in panthers history. He was a good coach who got 2 jobs after his panthers stint. 
 

that clown Ron wasted the primes of cam and Luke. John fox is everything people though ron rivera was.

      It was both literally and figuratively a parade of horribles. 1)  Glut of coaching “talent” with designs that didn’t match the personnel and didn’t mesh with each other. 2) An o-line  I’ll-fitted for the scheme on the interior. Injuries compounded this critical weakness. Penetration on runs completely negated whatever zone dominance we tried to establish.  3) Lack of separation by the WR’s. A lack of speed and separation and filling the right roles led to some pretty embarrassing looks. We couldn’t win on multiple levels and it repeatedly trickled down. Also look to (2) because interior pass rush often limited the time for routes to develop. 4) Rookie qb with an average arm but degenerative mechanics. Those railing about arm strength are off. He can sling it with a solid base, and the time of release is plus. 5) as the season wore on, we saw more bailing on the pocket, more dancing, more tip toes . Which isn’t that weird given (1)-(3).    Finally, CJ had one of the best seasons ever for a rookie qb and we missed the pick. It has no bearing whatsoever on whether Bryce Young can be a successful NFL QB. I’ll say this: if the kid does rebound and proves himself, that’s the gamer you want leading your team.
