Old man Houston came out and played well, Burns didn't do sh*t. Saints offensive front isn't all that, but Burns didn't show up for the game.

He wants to be paid like a top player, but his effort tonight was not a good look. Maybe they sh*t the bed by not taking the trade and getting the picks. Great players don't disappear for games, especially against division rivals. Give 100% or sit down.

Because he’s not good.  I don’t know how many times we have to say this.  The dude has never been able to stop the run, gets taken out of games by tight ends, and whiffs more than he tackles.  The only thing Fitt has done right is not re-signing him.  Now trade him for whatever you can get

One of the biggest mistakes in franchise history was turning down that trade. Would have been great for getting Bryce actual NFL level weapons. 
 

Burns is a great guy, but he is not worth what we were offered and he doesn’t deserve 30 million to disappear every other game.

      Forget trying to draft a QB in the early first round--it's stupid

      OK, fair enough--however, since my point was that drafting a QB in the top 10 is stupid, if you consider the players who were not drafted in the top 10 or those who WERE drafted in the top 10 and did not secure starting positions with the team that drafted them, you should see the point.  Is it smart to draft a QB in the top 10 when only 4 are still starting for the team that drafted them.  Next, consider that half of that number, 2, were drafted outside the first round.  Next, there are 4 (Goff, Mayfield, Jones, and Darnold) who are starting on other teams after busting.   That number could increase as Arizona seems ready to move on from Murray, Miami is not sold on Tua, and jacksonville is still waiting for Trevor to start looking elite.  Bryce?   So to answer your question, there are MANY more QBs in the NFL who have busted and become starters on other rosters, were drafted after day 1, or are still on the cusp than the four who have become elite.  I thought that point was made.

      I’m more upset that we are changing uniforms in the middle of this road win streak. We have won our last 3 road games in Silver Helmets, White Jerseys, and Blue Pants. We are supposedly wearing Black Helmets, White Jerseys, Black Pants this week… I am a superstitious person
