I think he is the next Drew Brees if he gets the right coaching.

We don't know how well Brees would have done his rookie season, because he didn't start. But I suspect he would have looked a lot like Bryce.

I was always jealous of how quickly Brees would dissect the defense and that quick gd release. So hard to defend.

I see that potential in Bryce.

Idk. Dont see it. If we are making him look this bad we are going to ruin whatever potential he has.

When watching Bryce it’s pretty obvious that he’s a step ahead of his team around him. Throws with anticipation and where WRs are supposed to be. Offense just needs to catch up to him.

Where do you see this? I see lot of inaccuracy and struggling to make decisions

The offense still looks lethargic even compared to the other offenses around the NFL that are also starting rookie QBs. Baker Mayfield even looks like NFL starter material with the Buccs.

For whatever reason it's taking us longer to find our way. I do not believe it is all on Bryce. He has shown at times he is capable of making plays and moving the chains. He changed the play on a 3rd down early in the game and converted. He has done some positives, he just needs to do them more consistently and I believe with more time and experience he will. He has overthrown some deep passes, that to me is way better than underthrowing them constantly. He at least has the arm strength to stretch the field he just needs to get that timing down with his WRs more consistently (and maybe scheme up more than just 1 or 2 a game)

I do not agree with taking him out of the game for Andy Dalton, however. If Andy was our own version of Taysom Hill then sure I could understand. But that to me looked incredibly weak that we are going to have our #1 overall pick who is supposed to be the PG of the offense on the sidelines for the most important down of the drive in favor of Andy Dalton.

Jury is still out. This whole thing might blow up in our faces and it definitely isn't an encouraging feeling right now but this is what we have and no one is coming to save us. Just have to hope that the next level processing and intelligence that was supposed to make Young excel in the NFL is what helps him learn from his mistakes and enables him to continue to improve to a level expectant of a #1 overall pick.

It took brees almost 5 years and a HOF coach to make it all click.  I see nothing yet from bryce that makes me think he can complete 70% of his passes.  His arm is meh

It starts with WRs being open. We don’t have a WR on the roster who would have made the play Olave made or the catch Thomas made.

Nobody is reading all of this. Be more efficient with your words.

    • Not in same league. Caldwell just hit a 10.00 on the RAS. 2nd out of 3830 from 1987 onward.  https://x.com/MathBomb/status/2027885023387349047 Yeah I mean Louis had a sub 9.00 RAS. Still very very good, no doubt. Louis is small, no 2 ways about it. He is likely a sub package lb in nickel packages or specialized WLB. Be fine ST gunner to start for sure. 6 foot flat and 220lb is pushing it for a starting LB. At 10 to 20lbs less than the other LBs he'd better be closer to the top in most timed drills. He's gonna be challenged when some of the wrs in the class can matchup bigger stronger faster, much less TE in the run game.  Yeah instinct matter and he has them, but that size is a massive red flag compared to many of the other LBS in this class.    Rodriguez is the LB that really climbed this week from a pure grit guy to great flash with athleticism people wrote off cause he was a QB at first at UVA. 18.4mph in the backpedal. Production the last 2 years were great. I'd be thrilled with him as the future mike.   Hill likely moved out of 51 and into the top 45 picks ( Ravens at 45 I can't imagine don't bite if he makes it there). Honestly Hill imo is a 1st rounder and I'd be ok with him as he fits the MLB we have missed the last few years. People would crow it's a reach but he's top 30 all-time I'm RAS for a LB at 9.9+ . Plus he was big time in big games when he was healthy. And that br a big check: meds.
    • Miller, Melo, Coby, Moose, and Bridges all on the floor at the same time must be a nightmare for defenses lol. Switch one out for Kon and still a nightmare. Coby really does bring a true 6th man value and looks like he could start if Melo was out after only a few games of getting his feet wet.
