If he needs a bit of seasoning then we might as well have stayed put and just drafted Will Levis if we are just going to throw away picks. You don't play these games at number one. You either take the best pure passer or you don't make the move.

I get it, but the pick is done - it's a sunk cost. The argument about FO ineptitude may be valid but is a different one. For now the capital is gone, Bryce is on the team, and if sitting him for a bit improves him as a player then that's the best long-term course of action.

Had this been in Charlotte, we'd be going into next week with a W.  Good thing Bryce has an "ankle injury" because this would have be super U-G-L-Y with Seattle's crowd noise.   Dalton is at least keeping the game in reach.

did this game not follow the exact same pattern as the other 2?

Close at half.  Then they pull away.  All 3 games have been pretty similar

people are going to inflate the passing yards because of how bad Seattle is on D is act like something changed.  Dalton still just at 50 something completion.

Yup, the defense was supposed to keep us in ball games this year.  So far, so NOT good.  Our secondary is getting torched.  Yes, the sacks have been nice, but a stop every once in a while actually accomplishes more.

    • I know we look at a few plays here and there but this Rams unit put up more pts against Seattle's elite defense. I think getting rid of Evero will be something we regret doing...we are just devoid of talent across the defense after investing YEARS in our offense.
    • Yeah and he plays Xavier fuging Legette. Shackles on canales and reich LOL. You mean the coach who had tampa bay a bottom third offense in his season there? And the coach who brought in the most laughably bad offensive scheme and play calling this franchise has ever seen? You are absolutely delusional 😂😂
    • It’s been a thing all year. Those PFF stats having him highly ranked in zone coverage early on made no sense. It was a problem for our intermediate zone game all year because the linebackers struggled in coverage as well. A lot of what people are complaining about Evero calling “prevent” defense is guys getting straight beat at that intermediate level which by design happens to line up with the sticks.  But zone allows you to diffuse responsibility by allocating across areas rather than personnel and therefore limiting the damage from a mistake. We don’t have personnel to run bump n run man coverage. Getting beat doing that means watching our guy chase their guy on long routes down the field.   And yea I mean, a better pass rush is the “rising tide that raises all ships”. Definitely have some pieces but player development and a key free agent could go a long way.
