But if you do that you’ll be called a fair weather fan blah blah blah

Which is crazy. I hate myself for spending 3-4 hours watching this every week for free on TV. I can't imagine shelling out hundreds of dollars for tickets, parking, concessions, etc to watch it in person.

It’s why I let youtubetv record it and watch it after an hour or so in. At least I can FF the pain as needed.

You idiots are exactly the reason why our stadium is constantly full of our of town fans. Do you think they stopped going to games in Pittsburg because it's been a while since they've been to the playoffs? Hell, that team has a home field in Las Vegas last night.

The reason why I spend all of this money despite our lack of success is because that's what it's going to take to build a real culture here.

If you guys want to wait until we're good to show up we will never get there because we're going to be playing 17 away games each season.

So each week, no matter our record or how we look I show up, I get loud, and I try to encourage the people around me to do so. No opposing fan has EVER sat in our seats in the 10 years my brother and I have owned them, and no opposing fan has sat in my parents seats for the entire 25+ year history of the franchise.

Tepper gets my money every season regardless, it doesn't do anything for me to not show up besides save him money on stadium services I don't use.

Mediocrity

With that way of thinking, there would be no Carolina Panthers to begin with... cause America wouldn't exist we still be under England's rule...smh

N I was a Steelers fan before Carolina became a team because we(Carolina didn't have a team)...so I know the culture all too well...n maybe that's just it, if u were a Steelers fan before we inherit this team then you used to a winning franchise... like our owner should be.

N no I'm not going back as a fan I'm jus saying the owner, f..it the PLAYERS NEED TO SEE WE FED UP WITH THEIR WORK,

spare the rod spoil the child

    • In January 2014, I posted this on another forum.  Seems like it fits again:   Do you remember cheering for the rain? Trying to sleep after “The no-call”? Do you know who needs to "Ice up, son"?   Remember pleading for .500? Thinking there’s no catching the Saints? Punting to Buffalo and knowing how it was going to end?   Do you remember how you felt about Kalil’s ad? Or the fan’s follow up? Gruden’s interview with Cam?   Do you remember Clausen being the steal of the draft? Will you ever forgive Mel Kiper?   Did you cry as Jake said his goodbyes? Do you remember the game that cost Gruden his job?   As fans chant “Luuuuuuke,” do you still hear “Moooose”? … “Hoooove”?   Do you recall changing the diaper? Paddling the boat? Being happy just hearing the name Smoot?   Do you recall the day when it hurt to say “Keep pounding,” and you felt you’d lost a close friend?   Did you hunt the net for Bojangle’s commercials? Have you seen a Cajun’s bare butt?   Do you remember the sunken feeling when Smitty was caught from behind and didn’t get up?   Sports Illustrated’s prediction?   Were you angry at Janet for stealing the spotlight? Does “X-Clown” still give you chills? Do you sing the wrong words to “Day-O”? Whenever you hear “He Hate Me,” do you also hear Rosinski finishing the sentence?   Did you like Seifert a little less when he let Walls’ streak of games-with-a-reception end? But nothing compared to letting Steve go, right? Do you remember that invincible feeling you had when we won the first game of 2001? Do you recall who our division rivals were?   Do you remember thinking “Just wait ‘til Bazooka’s healthy”? How about that weird grin you got watching Kevin Greene fire up the D? Or being undefeated at Ericsson?   If your answer is “no,” we happily welcome you as a new fan of our beloved team. Trust me, we’ll be happy to explain all of these and more to catch you up. For the rest of you, it’s been entirely too long since we were alive after week 17. But every question that you answered “yes” to makes this all the sweeter. Welcome to the playoffs.
    • Future considerations......     DUE to several high dollar players spending time on IR the canes have    37M in trade deadline cap space.....
