PFF grades after week 3 (not for the faint of heart)

Might want to put him on the bench where he belongs. He's just not ready. Is a 4th round rookie who missed most of camp really the best we've got for OL depth?

Yeah, I liked the pick and thought he had potential but he's clearly not ready. He's just getting abused. We have to have SOMEBODY better than that. Surely.

I'm going to give Ikcey a break since he's having to try and pickup some slack from Zavala filling in at LG - and is coming off his worst game of the year by far - but it is disappointing. His PFF grade was like 20 points higher on the year after the Saints game, IIRC.

It's a reminder that, despite playing well overall last year, Ickey is still a young player with developing left to do.

That's not the issue. The issue is that Reich and Browns offense doesn't fit icky. Hell it doesn't fit 90% of our oline that was built for power running with us running stretch zone rpo.

Vikings have a terrible defense and it's at home.  We need Bryce to play this game and get some confidence.  Hopefully he is healthy enough to play.

Bad defense or not, teams now know how to make BY see ghosts. Everyone from here on out will blitz the hell out of him.
Dalton is the best option for the foreseeable future unless you want to finish 1-16,

If he can’t get past that he won’t ever become our franchise QB. Better find out now vs later. Winning a couple extra games with Dalton while leaving Young as a question mark does us no good. We are better off losing their extra games and seeing if Young can develop.

Agreed. If he’s healthy he has to play.

The fans don't want to see Dalton.  The best thing for Young is to get experience.  If he is healthy he needs to play against a bad defense at home.  That's what the season is about.

That really worked out well for Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson

Yeah they were able to move on from them because they aren’t starters in the NFL. WTF are you even doing labeling a couple busts? There are plenty of examples of it working as well. You really think we traded all that capital to move up and draft a QB at 1 to roll with Dalton all year?
