Bryce is fine. The Panthers are fine.

I used to argue the air yards... but then Mahomes, Purdy Tom Brady, Burrow and Tua changed my mind. We are running an offense that's built on getting the ball into the playmakers hands as quick as possible... unfrotuantely we dont have that type of playmaker... Maybe if Mingo played today instead of TMJ we would have seen it.

Sorry, but you can't use YPC to measure his success as a passer if he's letting his receivers do all the work. The difference between all of those guys and BY is they can complete a pass over 20 yards in the air on a consistent basis, except maybe Purdy.

Bryce isnt pushing the ball down the field but I kind of agree he wasnt as bad today as people are making it seem. Well outside of that shitty fumble. He needs to learn that cant treat the NFL like bama.

Now imagine if that defender could catch and he also has a 99 yard pick six on the books today.

I think Ikey is gonna steal the game tape and burn it so they can’t see how pathetic he played today

What are the air yards per attempt?

Remember when Bridgewater had 4 1k yard receivers? It wasn't because he was throwing deep.

Honestly, probably about 5 yards. No joke. Because with the DPI he's going to lose credit for the air yards of the one deep shot he took (that was horribly underthrown to a guy who was grabbed and slowed up).

He is holding onto the ball too long tho. He keeps trying to make a play when he just needs to throw it away asap if it's not there. It doesn't help we have no one who can stretch the field or create real separation, get yac, etc.

    • Honestly, the guy does a TON of good research. His videos are always high quality and his insight is always stellar.  This video however changed my mind...dramatically about the draft.  Anyone who's seen my opinions knows Im a all in BPA guy, HOWEVER, this kind of changed my mind...Im now a BPA...at position of value dictated by the board.  A lot of words to say, weighted average is important. We all all know that having a good qb on a rookie contract is important, but what about a good edge...or reciever...or tackle?  THOSE things make a different and this opened my eyes to that.  With that said, not that I think we SHOULD go receiver in the first, HOWEVER, IT DOES MAKE SENSE.  If you have good young recievers coming in on rookie contracts, then you have more to build the rest of the roster at a lower cost.  If we were a team loaded at Receiver then things would be different, however, we only truly have 2 reliable WRs, so would another Receiver be a bad pick...I actually dont think so now based on value going forward.  Its just something to consider for everyone.
    • Yeah, it's fool's gold. Darnold always had the tools. He just needed a tram with an elite D, a top 5 WR, and a Super Bowl MVP RB to carry him so he wouldn't be asked to press where he becomes a turnover machine. Darnold settled in once he was in a situation where he could just be a very talented game manager. People try to tell themselves Bryce can do that without realizing that Darnold still forces the D to respect the throws he can make that the coaches would rather he not attempt where as Bryce simply doesn't have the physical ability to force that respect opening up other opportunities. Like Parcells said leading up to the draft that based on his physical tool set "he better walk on water". What he was politely trying to say is that Bryce simply doesn't have an NFL physical tool set.
    • Got home in time to see Halls goal in the 3rd. Saw replays of Staal and LeCuck dropping gloves on the faceoff loved that! Playoff Freddie entered the building  woo! Hope to see the full replay on Fandual.
