Honestly think Evero and Thomas Brown

Are headcoach and offensive coordinator( actually calling plays!) coming out of our bye @0-6. Reich was a mistake and Tepper realizes it quick.

As long as one of those guys is willing to do that, I am all for it.

Understand that it isn't likely to change that much. We spent all offseason putting a scheme in place, it's hard to change that midstream and get results quickly.

Even if we did, expect more sucking to happen for the remainder of the season.

I can't say it's not possible. He interviewed for the HC job with all 5 teams looking this past offseason, the Denver defense looks like ass now that he's gone, and aside from the run defense, he's holding things together with duct tape given the injuries across the back end he's dealt with. He'll be plucked off this staff sooner than later, might as well be us.

Honestly seems like some internal conflict already going on. Reich does not call the same game for Bryce offensively as he does for Dalton. I think its clear he doesn't trust him. Maybe theres good reason but maybe not. if Fitterer and Tepper are really on Bryce train i can just see them getting rid of Reich soon. Allow Brown to open the offense up with Bryce ? i mean it cant get any worse…

Not sure about Thomas Brown, but Evero is a great DC. Our defense is as stout as ever for the most part (when they aren't tired). I'm a little bit of Thomas Brown, but I want to see what we have in him and see if he can do anything on offense.

Evero is going to get HC looks in the near future. Why not get ahead of the line with him? Also I thought when Brown called plays in preseason, we looked much more explosive. Get Frank out of here and get both of these men the opportunity they deserve. I don't think we'd regret it.

If we are 0-6 and the defense blows, with the offense already blowing, neither guy is getting a look

Evero called an impressive game yesterday with all the injuries . Vikings had a top rated passing attack and we slowed it down considerably

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
