Children of the Corn scared the bejesus out of me as a child for some reason

Yeah, that one got me too when I was a kid. isaac and Malachi (incredible casting for those two) getting punished is one of the most memorable scenes for me for some reason. "Malachi! He wants you too!"

I saw one of the Faces of Death videos with some friends when we were in highschool.

I think we all regretted it, but none of us had the guts to turn it off.

That one I could have done without.

Went to a midnight showing of a Faces of Death film in Charlotte around '90 where literally everyone there was smoking pot (packed theater btw) and maaaaan, I got so paranoid,  I thought a cult was at my house killing my wife and son, so, yeah....that one stuck out for me being the most freaked out by a movie.

Lol that actually sounds like the theater where my brother and I saw Oliver Stones 'the doors'. We saw it on opening night and it was sold out so people bought tickets to other movies and snuck in and so there were people sitting in the floor in the aisles. For some reason there were a lot of people that bought buckets of KFC and snuck it in. Not sure why everyone got KFC. But it wasn't too long into the movie that people started smoking up in there. My brother avd I were just sitting there going "this is AWESOME!"

I can't really say the same thing after watching faces of death, though. Stuff I saw it took me years to get out of my head and I can't believe that I watched all of it. I'm not sure how many were made, but 1 was more than enough.

The Conjuring films as well as the Insidious films I really enjoyed and was honestly frightened when I first saw them.  As a kid, a movie that scarred me was Pet Semetary, the sister Zelda, holy poo.  Also, for some reason, the Devil's Advocate spooked me, I was living alone at the time and had a hard time falling asleep a few nights after watching.
