I don't really think they can risk losing Brown honestly if they start winning some games. 
 

unless theres a scenario where Brown stays at least a year as OC. I just see Brown as being a super hot commodity IF he has success this year

Yeah it depends on how much we improve honestly. Frank has had 6 games we pretty much know he's not the answer.


If Brown can lead this offense with some wins then yeah I can see Tepper hiring him.

Brown is part of the group who wanted Bryce and Reich is part of the group who wanted Stroud. So if Brown goes out and has Bryce looking good then you have to move on from Reich. I don't think Tepper or Scott would fire Reich, but they would probably try and nudge him out the door and have him say he's choosing to retire. Of course, in a perfect world you would like to keep the staff how it currently sits but young offensive coaches are highly sought after and if Brown has Bryce cooking, then some other team is gonna offer him HC gig.

Is there a source for TB wanting Bryce?

      To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
