If Brown is a good or great OC, why in the world would you want to immediately take away from what he is doing and promote him?

Well, it is pretty obvious that Reich isn't much of a play caller and IF Brown does well and our offense starts to move the ball someone is going to snatch him up.  We've been through this several times where we have kept the incumbent and let the better talent move on.  (ie. Bean and McDermott).

Good playcaller does not always equal good head coach.

Let's let that play out.

More presnap motion and misdirection.

The motion will help this receiving group get open by putting pressure on the defense to adjust, rather than sitting there in front of your guy in man-to-man waiting for the snap. Defenses have been too comfortable defending our receivers because they're not great route runners and/or they don't have the speed to pressure the defense.

That little bit of indecisiveness from the defense would even help the oline in run and pass blocking. Defenses have just been pinning back their ears and going after Bryce, because the playcalling has been pretty straight forward. Panthers don't have the QB or the receivers for that style of football. The Rams also use that motion to give receivers and TEs a head start and full head of steam on kick out run blocks and misdirections off of that. Making it harder to know where the ball is going. I can really see Mingo and Tremble bullying folks in that role. If Sanders is back, that presnap motion to him to beat coverage in pass plays and giving Chuba more room to run.

Endless possibilities. A ton of ways to help receivers get open that Reich wasn't using. Reich now gets more of an opportunity to help lead and direct every aspect of the game instead of just the offense. Personnel, defense, special teams, clock management, etc. All should get equal share of his attention.
