He probably is but I doubt it's gonna happen against second and third stringers in an already bad team.

Eh he hasn’t been perfect. Only completed 13 passes in a win their last game, turned the ball over, just 3 points in the second half. But his guys around him on offense and defense have stepped up.

For a rookie he's been quite solid. Also exudes leadership for his locker room. But he makes a huge difference in that offense. He's 4th in yard per pass attempts 4th in yards per game and has the 10th best passer rating.

Legitimately if you're trying to poke holes in his game while propping up Bryce Young you have no credibility.

Nobody is perfect but he's having a great rookie season and the guys around him had never done poo before.

If this were true the Chargers would have a significantly better record year in and year out.

I think Herbert is vastly overrated.

I don't have a comp of why that is good to use.  The best one I got is an old college one that most won't get.  But Taj Boyd at Clemson IMO is it.  He was right before Watson.  Not play style but they have the same fault.

Taj Boyd was very good.  He had a very good team.  Taj Boyd was just not a good QB anytime anything actually mattered.   Moments or games.  That's Herbert.  When it matters, he just isn't a good QB.

Rhule always turned it around in year 3 until he didn't.

It's football and any team can drop a turd on Sunday but this one is a tell of two teams headed in opposite directions.

Matt Rhule has never in his career seen good offense. That's why he never made sense in the NFL.

Correct. Going into this season nobody was viewing the Texans weapons as a plus. Most folks thought they had something in Pierce and that was really it. AT+Chark+Sanders, Pittman+Pierce+Taylor were both viewed as significantly better than …Collins, Pierce and Woods.

And if you go read any Texans page a whole load of them are STILL pushing the idea they need another WR in round 1.

The Texans top 2 accounted for 90 catches, 1008 yards and 4 TDs last year between Nico Collins and Robert Woods ( their 1 and 2 going into this season ).

The Colts top 2 accounted for 140 catches, 1518 yards and 6 TDs between Alec Pierce and Michael Pittman.

The Panthers top 2 accounted for 100 catches, 1218 yards and 9 TDs in AT and DJ Chark last year. Heck, AT’s 6 TDs alone matches the other two teams top 2 guys when you combine them.

You have to give Stroud credit for what they have done on offense so far especially with the entire offensive line being hurt and no run game.

It’s ok to be high on Bryce and recognize Stroud is currently outplaying almost every rookie QB in recent times.

Everything used to prop him up was BS except his ability to sell his BS.

This place has been ruining trends since Tepper got here. I am not believing in the 4-0 thing until it's 5-0.

He did it with Cam too so at least he’s loyal to the franchise

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
