They won't trade Burns now because the compensation will be so grossly inadequate compared to the Ram's package that the mockery would be absolutely savage.  The only way to save face is not to trade him and stick to the "off the table" trade stance.

That’s why you replace Fitt. New GM won’t care what Fitt turned down.

For all the crap Frank is catching for his coaching, Fitterer should be the first to go, like ASAP.  This roster was mostly his baby.  I tried to give him the benefit of a doubt due to Rhule having 'roster control.'  However, the moves he's made even since Rhule's dismissal have been questionable.

This is the time of season when the real digging for scouts starts.  Better to ditch him now before any 2024 draft compilation starts in earnest where Scott has input.

Yep let Morgan be interim until we can find a good GM this offseason. Most importantly Tepper needs to let this new GM do his job with minimal interruptions/ suggestions. Hire the right person and trust them.
Reich needs to go because his whole offense has aged out of the new NFL. Let Staley be HC for the next couple years. New GM can pick his guy in 25 if things aren’t better.

I thought about it some and I would trade Burns for a top 10 pick in a heart beat. I'd use that pick to draft the best WR available or Bowers if he's still available. I'd use the rest of the picks on Oline.

That would be unfair, but I understand it.  Dude got a crap roster, a rookie QB and one that's looking like a bust.  Add on to the fact he was sold on this veteran defense--one that was suppose to take pressure off the offense looking like a M*A*S*H ward adds to the frustration. Scheme is not why this offense sucks right now, it's the players playing like poo that's main culprit and the back seven of the defense tag teaming turns on the IR.

Weren’t you high on Tank Dell as well? You’ve made some good calls on draft picks.

My pound the table guys have been looking great, won't lie.  Biggest draft crushes were basically Zay, JuJu Brents, Tuli, Sam LaPorta, & Tyjae Spears.

WR wise, loved a handful--Flowers, Dell, Downs, Ty Scott, and Iosivas. Wasn't a big QJ fan.

    • I can't help but think that you are equating physical attributes alone with wins. I don't subscribe to that thought. No one will argue that Young has a strong arm, but he makes up for it in other ways. The real limitation for him is he needs good route runners with great hands. That's why Young was so good at the end of the 24 season. Thielen and Coker were perfect receivers for him and he had his best games with them. Not having them to start the 25 season hurt. Look at the first 10 games in 25 with a rookie receiver and no Coker and then look at the final 7 games with a more experienced rookie and Coker back and there is a telling difference in Young's performance. Prior to week 10, Young had 1 game with a QB rating above 100, 2 games with a rating above 90 and 6 games with a rating below 90. In the last 7 games with Coker back, Young had 3 games with a QB rating above 100, 2 games with a rating above 90 and only 2 games with a rating below 90. The tools a QB has to work with matter more than their arm strength.  To go back to Darnold and Stafford, yes they both have great arm strength but neither had much success with that alone. As I already pointed out, Stafford, even with a canon for an arm, only had 4 winning seasons in his first 12 years. It was only when he went to the right environment that he had true success.
    • I don't love this role for him if I'm being totally honest The pregame show is much more flash than substance and doesn't seem like the right fit for what Luke would bring to the table, and that's his vision of the game. I'd like to see him do something where it more involves him breaking down film and explaining what he's seeing out there, as he sees the game in a way very few ever have.
