And the Giants have one of the worst olines in recent memory. 63 sacks given up on the season. That's insane.

And this is an example of the frustration on my part.

As someone who sometimes defends Bryce. I'm not saying it's the offensive line. I'm not saying it's his weapons. I'm not saying it's the coaching. I'm saying it's ALL three combined.

Yes the Giants have a trash offensive line. Now, do their weapons and coaching.

Well their coach won coach of the year last year so let's assume he doesn't suck.

Their weapons are average at best, and still notably better than ours. And the guy who caught 2 of Devito's touchdowns yesterday happens to be a an all pro Saquon Barkley. Having a weapon like that certainly helps. Go back and look at Barkley's first touchdown catch yesterday. Tell me you can see Miles Sanders doing that.

The Giants have been a hot mess this year and DaBoll has often looked nothing like he did last season. Barkley is usually on the injury list more often than not.

I have seen now two different NFC backup QB's who went undrafted play above their circumstances for the Bears and the Giants two of the current worst teams in the entire league.

Yes we have covered all the Panthers issues. Andy Dalton's one start is still our highest offensive output of the season. We still need to see our #1 pick play above his circumstances despite it all.

Why are you so dug in when it comes to Bryce Young? Every one is saying the same thing, but a few here want this rookie to be perfect when no QB is or ever has been. Honestly. Did you just not want the Panthers to draft him? Do you just not like short QBs? Really, what is it? Honest question, because he's really not nearly as bad as you're making him out to be.

And those two QB's have better weapons. Barkley is in and out, but in the game you are referencing for Devito, he played, and played very well, my fantasy team thanks him. And the other quarterback is throwing to DJ Moore. A few times a year DJ Moore would take a screen pass to the house by himself. We don't have that guy.

Who the hell has said he needs to be perfect? Lol

Not perfect that's never been an expectation or demand.

In fact before the season I said many times to people here who were fully being homers expecting him to lead us to the playoffs in his rookie season that they should cool their jets and that he will throw interceptions and that's fine. I have no issues with turnovers if we're actually moving the ball down the field. But what I got was frankly an inferior version of Teddy Bridgewater ball. Yes Teddy Bridgewater attempted to move the ball downfield more often than Bryce Young. That isn't up for debate at this point.

I had Stroud as 1 Bryce as 2a and Richardson as 2b. When we selected Bryce I supported him and even told people who ridiculed him for his height to pipe down. I've said really very little about his size since the draft that's not even my concern. He seems to lack the phsyical traits to be a franchise QB at this point. There just isn't anything there that stands out and makes you say wow that's why they drafted this kid first overall.

I'm getting the sense you're just suggesting I hate Bryce Young and if such is the case we have no further to go in this conversion so I'll catch you on the flip side I guess.

Can anyone name any team in the league with worse skill position talent than ours? Anyone?

WR"s - TE - RB - is there anyone in the league who is worse than us?

Name them.

And that's not even talking about offensive line and coaching.

People keep making this their first line of defense. Yet our highest offensive output on the season with this same group was from Dalton.

present day, I'm not sure the Vikings have better overall skill talent.   I'd say we are on par from a skill talent level.

but it took injury to make it close.  but the Vikings are playing pretty good football.

Jordan Addison puts anyone we have to shame

So does Hockenson as far as TE’s go

It's the first line of defense because it amazes me how people can be so confident in their assertion of Bryce's bustness knowing the reality of what he's working with. Which is the WORST SKILL TALENT in the league. For a rookie.

Now to Dalton -- maybe it was a one game sample, maybe the Seattle Secondary was missing 2 of their 4 starters, maybe Dalton got the ball out quicker so the defensive line couldn't get to him while Bryce holds on to it too long, maybe his offensive output is exaggerated by the fact that he threw the ball 58 times, and the most Bryce has thrown it is 41, so maybe the coaching staff knew that Seattle was missing 2 of the 4 starters so part of the game plan was to throw the ball more, maybe one of his touchdowns was a 47yd TD on a busted coverage because seattle was missing 2 of the 4...you know the rest. Or yes, of course maybe Dalton is just plain better than Bryce, that is certainly possbile too.

I don't know the exact reason for Dalton's performance, most likely a combination of the above. I do know that that performance doesn't mean that Bryce doesn't have the worst skill talent in the league as a rookie.
