So we have a run blocking O line that is pass blocking more....sounds good.

Even worse... We have a power run blocking oline trying to do a West Coast zone blocking scheme while having a QB that holds the ball too long and calling a crazy number of passes each game knowing that...

They are coming right up the middle through our center and guards.  What you are saying would make more sense if our tackles were struggling the most.  Moton is the only one who played well.  They lined Parsons up directly over Bozeman and he got to Bryce in under 2.5 seconds damn near every time.

Oh I agree. Both are true. Bryce doesn't hardly have time vs bull rushers up the gut. With that said, Bryce misses SEVERAL hot and second reads because he refuses to even inch up most of the time. He seems gun shy. Also. Not moving the pocket in that case is either coaching malpractice or a staff hamstrung by a limited QB.

I swear scheme is more important than results to these guys.

it was working. 5.7 yards/run average and you give him 10 Carries? We could have potentially run for 180 - 200 yards yesterday.

Did you watch the game? There were definitely some good runs and some times when the run was working really well, but there were also drives killed by negative yardage runs on first and second down. I remember one it was first down run for like negative 2 or 3 yards. 2nd and 13 Mingo drops a pass. False start on OL. Then all of a sudden we’re 3rd and 18 with an OL that can’t pass protect. Or the field goal in the first half we were driving but then we had a first down run that lost like 4 or 5 yards and that was the end of that drive this offense can’t recover from that. poo like that happens way too much. Then the D keeps giving Dallas free first downs with bonehead penalties, and before you know it we’re going into the half down 17-3 and pretty much in panic mode because scoring 14 points while not allowing any on D is pretty much impossible for this team.

Taking a true pass pro LT in the draft who might even be run blocking deficient and bumping Ickey inside to LG would do wonders for all of this in my opinion.

We already drafted him and were playing him at LG.  When healthy, move BC to LT and Ickey to LG.  That would be serviceable.
