i'm not hating this at all.

would like to have gotten another OL or two, but i think this would take care of a good few things.

one of the things that i keep looking for are hard nose between the tackle RBs and there's a couple of them Carson Steele late looks like a tough mfo and he's a yards after...everything.

plus getting an extra first rounder next year doesn't hurt.

Erick all is a name to watch for sure

Sucks he's never healthy. But early reports were from iowa was he is better than laporta.

I've efficiently done Dan Morgan's job for him.

Goal 1 - right a horrific and shameful wrong of the past 4 times over

Goal 2 - looked forward to our 2025 rebuild for when we look to build around our 1st round pick in the 2025 draft.

Post my humble and dumb mock draft

33.  Troy Franklin WR Oregon (home run hitter with good size)

65.  Trey Benson RB FSU (dreaming here he doesn’t last this long)

102. Malik Washington WR VA (slot with great ability, wishing again)

141.  Jaheim Bell TE FSU (speed and athleticism)

165.  Tommy Eichenberg  LB OSU (production and decent athlete)

180.  Kalen King CB Penn St (no way he lasts this long but whaevea)

So I feel like the following offseason plan is realistic, posted this in another thread.

1 Re-sign Jansen, Luvu and Burns

1a. If unable to resign Burns to reasonable deal, franchise him, if unable to trade let him play out franchise tag or try to trade him mid season.

2 Extend DB

3 Sign Calvin Ridley (1-2 year high incentive deal) backup Curtis Samuel

4 Sign Rasheed Shaheed backup Mack Hollins (1 year high incentive deal)

5. Sign Trent Brown for depth

6. Sign a random Guard (pick anyone)

7. See if YGM comes back on a low cost one year deal to prove last year wasn't a fluke, otherwise sign vet pass rusher

8. Try like hell to trade Hayden Hurst and Miles Sanders (won't happen)

Did this mock earlier; you guys will hate it but this team desperately needs to build from the inside to out right now, we are NOT one to two sexy WR's away from being good.

Things I want to do this offseason: retain our good core players: Luvu, DB and Burns; not fug our future cap space up that much in FA. Draft *good* players, regardless of position. When in doubt trade down and acquire more picks or future capital.

This team should be doing everything in its power to build slowly. Next year is a wash as is. It's the year after and beyond I'm concerned with ESPECIALLY if we have to move off Bryce Young
