Give me Wilks, Donald, and Foreman back. They would have won at least 6 or 7 games (maybe more). This turd they call a football team is unwatchable.

And Bryce isn't a franchise QB.

I would take Wilks and Foreman back but keep the ghost passer away cause i care about winning! I am the franchise along with CJ here as we show our moves.

It compares the 2 top QB in the same draft showing how we celebrate in a musical promo which is very catchy. Only haters cannot appreciate it but this one goes into more detail on why the Panthers got the RIGHT pick but gave up too much to achieve it. Once we get a true playmaker like Tua got, we will be scary!

The text was on-screen for literally fractions of a second in the clip and changing sizes the entire time - how tf is anyone supposed to make sense of it? It is quite impossible to actually read, especially with that god-awful music.

And use of the term 'hater' automatically discounts anything you're saying. Consider using something that actually expresses a relevant and cogent position rather than a trite, meaningless, utterly stupid buzzword.

I’m glad we didn’t go after Carr or keep Darnold. The right move was to get Stroud. That was a layup but we bricked. Carr is done, and would’ve kept Frank around longer than needed

Darnold AND Stroud were an option. He makes less than half of Dalton.

Now show me the NFL film

That doesn’t work out so well. They aren’t playing Arkansas with a DC that rushes 3 and maybe has a couple of defensive players that were drafted. So congratulations to those guys, but they were late round guys who did make a roster and are backups now. Montaric Brown CB  and Ridgeway a DT second string for Ron in DC. Waived by the team that drafted him (Dallas).

People that insist the SEC is equal to NFL competition, when evaluating talent. That is apparently this poster’s thing. But the SEC absolutely isn’t the NFL and using it as a measuring stick will come up incomplete at best, most of the time. May be the closest thing, but that is like saying Venus is close to Earth. Or maybe the moon.

Can’t edit to add so back to back…

In the video the says he is The Best QB Prospect yada yada go to 4:39 which is a play vs Auburn, that is being held up as an example of him setting his feet and being great.  I don’t understand what setting your feet means, apparently. It is in there somewhere right before the extra stuff in his windup and delivery. I think, but seems to be the move that initiates his throwing process. I’ll just move along to the point.

Okay, somewhere around thew 30 yard line he takes a step that would be “up into the pocket” and  …now, time to throw (for guys with good arms). But he then takes a running start to launch the ball finally from maybe the 37 being generous, it could be past that. His front foot, after the release, looks to be past the 38. It is hard to be more exact at that angle. I am trying to round down, in his favor, when I don’t feel sure, trying to be as fair as possible.

But it is pretty clear there are at least two more strides advancing towards the target before starting the windup or loading the ball into throwing position. That’s what I called the running start.

There are a lot of guys who can throw that with a flick of the wrist standing flat footed. Know that, and ignore it, you better have a great reason. I don’t see it.

That is the sort of stuff that I took into pre draft discussions. Which is a cohttp://www.chopcountry.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=2mpletely ‘nother sad story, because precious few were interested in a considering a different opinion.

All I can say is why shouldn’t people look at that and ask how that translates to the NFL?

If they shouldn’t, why the hell not? It is you turn to explain that as far as I am concerned. College tape doesn’t really hide these things either so keep on with that it just helps teach people. That tape shows you a lot if you are not focusing on the result of the play. And it isn’t that there aren’t some great plays, the first question there is, to me, would those be great plays against even a sub par NFL defense?

That may lead to a different answer, and just that there is a valid question is enough for me to downgrade.

To put the player’s value at him being worth what they traded? Hell I was screaming No and it will never make sense. To me, he was still  a huge gamble even at 9 because of that tippy toe ridiculousness alone.

    • If we get to 4-3 do we make a sneaky trade?
    • Corbett should move back to guard if anything while being the backup for BC and Lewis. Cade needs to stay at center. That much has been obvious since last year.  Coker needs to be fast tracked to the lineup, preferably starting over XL.  The problem comes with Chubba, JT and Turk... 3 starters that the backups have arguably outperformed. I like JT's ball skills but I'm quickly becoming an Evans fan. Hopefully JT coming back will only affect James Mitchell. Idunno but Rico should be untouchable at the moment...he's on OPTY/MVP pace and Turk should NEVER be utilized as a NT again.
    • Looking at the TE situation, does Sanders get on the field if he can't block to the level of TT and ME?  I am 100% on board with Sanders getting Wally Pipped on this one.  We have plenty of WR's, I don't see what huge advantage he gives us over TT or ME, or even James Mitchel at this point.  Canales said when he was hired that the TE was a huge part of his offense.  The blocking displayed by the TE room Sunday was exactly what he meant. I also think the WR rotation ends up being....  TMAC, Coaker, Brycen, XL, Horn, Renfrow.  XL needs to learn to run routes, block his ass off, and be dependable if he wants to get opportunities going forward.  He's about to lose the Trust of BY.  Looking at the top 3 Wr's, I easily see JHJr passing him on the depth chart.  My money is on Renfrow being inactive most games going forward.
