Tepper's patience is why we are screwed for at least 3 more years.

His lack of patience is how we ended up with Bridgewater, Darnold and then Baker

It’s been the biggest issue since he bought the team

I wonder if Rhule, Hurney and Fitt drove that. Hurney always acted like he was going to get canned after he came back. Remember Tepper’s letter to PSL holders that mentioned patience with an obvious rebuild? I can’t recall exactly but I think it was after Cam’s release.

We didn’t really hear about Tepper’s involvement in any of the Rhule QBs and heck he said he kept Marty because of his college scouting. I think Tepper got more involved the worse we got but he committed to the people and hires so his fault as the boss.

Isn't it widely known/reported that Tepper drove the decision to dump Bridgewater after one season?

Yep he wasn’t watching another season of Bryc…I mean Teddy

Tepper wanted Fields but let Rhule/Fitt take Horn.

Every single year the best move Tepper could make is no move yet they continue to double down

From what I've read, Rhule was pretty much dead set against taking a rookie. He looked at them the same as a college freshman.

The way he handled Corral pretty well validated that.

Not that I’m aware of. The Tepper making all the decisions never really came up until post Rhule/Frank sucking. People can rewrite history but Rhule supposedly had full control of decisions and getting rid of Teddy was definitely his call. Remember his calling out of the coaching? Pretty sure Teddy’s end of game performances (bad) and complaints were the reason for parting, not Tepper.

I don’t recall Tepper forcing out Teddy. Teddy called out the coaches and played terrible at the end of games. Rhule had full roster control. Tepper’s made plenty of hiring and other mistakes but it’s funny now that Rhule is gone that he’s getting blamed for Rhule mistakes.

Tepper was reported to be pretty pissed at Matt Rhule over the way the Bridgewater thing turned out.  He also "expressed himself" publicly in a way that made it pretty difficult to bring Bridgewater back.

Thing is, what we've learned since is that Bridgewater was essentially right about Rhule.
