and I do not for a second think Tepper believes he's the problem. I think he thinks his decisions were the problem.  There's a massive difference there, because he'll just "buckle down" and try to figure it out himself, instead of doing the smart thing and "firing" himself and getting a football person in to take over.

Re-watch “The Blueprint” episodes, it’s so horrible.

I really want to know why Duce Staley and Josh McCown were fired the same day Frank Reich was.  They were clearly locker room leaders and player favorites.

There had to have been some sort of split with Tabor/Campen.

I am not even sure he thinks it's his decisions that are the problem. He strikes me as the sort of person that likely thinks it was other people that failed him.

my comment was based on the (supposedly credible) reports of him taking responsibility. I've learned that just 'cause someone accept responsibility doesn't mean poo if they don't change the fuging behavior that lead to them needing to take responsibility in the first place!

Oh I agree, but I also think that the organization might be behind that article/source.

Seemed very damage control-ish.

Can we actually try building around one quarterback for the same quarterback just one time? Teddy got worse when he got here, Sam was already bad and stayed bad, and Bryce looks a shell of the prospect he was supposed to be, Baker is having a career year and going to take his team to the playoffs after leaving.

We. Are. The. Problem. It’s an atrocious roster that no one would be performing well for. We have to stop acting like we’re only a quarterback away. We’re an everything away.

we bailed on pickles for Cam

LMAO either you don’t watch college ball or you’re a hater. Mac Jones was throwing to Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle, Bryce was throwing to Jermaine Burton and Jacorey Brooks 😭

This narrative that Bryce was carrying inferior talent at ALA-fuging-BAMA with their top 10 (usually top 5)recruiting class every single year has always been hilarious.

He has a multitude of question marks

Like what, exactly? Bryce didn't make half the throws that Penix makes and is a good 5 inches shorter. If there are a "multitude of questions" about Penix, why was Bryce the "surefire number one pick"?

Give me a break.

And while you're at it, give me Penix or Nix.

33 needs to be the best WR or OL on the board.

Our offensive line is fine. We need to get back to what works and keep the main thing the main thing. A Top 10 line under Wilks, a defensive coordinator by trade, went to poo under an offensive Head Coach.

Players aren't the issue, it's the system.

    • It is entirely possible to defend your point without calling a bunch of people "tards".  Bryce Young sucks.  The vast majority of football fans acknowledge and accept this, especially on this site despite the very few who may argue otherwise, and even then, I find it is more in a "cut him some slack" kind of way and not a "he's the future of the team" kind of way. At the end of the day, if you look hard enough on the Internet, you are always going to find takes that drastically differ from what you perceive to be the truth.   And nobody who's football opinion is worth listening to has argued Bryce Young is the MVP.  Again, that is an example of you looking way too hard on Twitter, assuming that is something you have actually even read.
    • Bryce's Career To Date passing yards by games. Includes two games he did not start but played. 2023(179.8/GM) Less Than 100: 1 101-150: 4 151-200: 6 201-250: 4 251+: 1 2024(171.6/GM) Less Than 100: 3 101-150: 1 151-200: 3 201-250: 3 251+: 3 2025(173.8/GM) Less Than 100: 0 101-150: 4 151-200: 3 201-250: 0 251+: 1 Percentage of Games Less Than 100: 10.5% 101-150: 23.7% 151-200: 31.6% 201-250: 18.4% 251+: 13.2%     So, in 2/3 of his career games played he is under 201 yards passing.
    • It works very well it’s just frustrating because it can win enough games to keep those three coaches employed even when they don’t innovate or ever make a decision that doesn’t come from a chart. If they weren’t so robotic in their decision making they’d be in the top tier of NFL coaches.
