If Penix is there at 33

Like what, exactly? Bryce didn't make half the throws that Penix makes and is a good 5 inches shorter. If there are a "multitude of questions" about Penix, why was Bryce the "surefire number one pick"?

Give me a break.

And while you're at it, give me Penix or Nix.

I am not doing research for your uneducated ass.  Look it up slob

LMAO either you don’t watch college ball or you’re a hater. Mac Jones was throwing to Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle, Bryce was throwing to Jermaine Burton and Jacorey Brooks 😭

Lol.....Young rode the coat tails of the better receivers the previous year to the Heisman.  If he was a dominant QB he wouldn't need generational receivers in a QB driven sport at Alabama.

People got mesmerized watching him run in circles throwing up prayers and thought he'd make those plays at the next level.

No he didn’t hater.  Bryce was one of the more decorated QBs in recent memory.  You can’t talk your bullshet into reality.

Bryce Young was the consensus #1 pick.  If we didn’t take him someone else would have.

Bryce is great btw and don’t come back with your tail between your legs when he starts dominating

Bryce was not the consensus number one pick, by a mile. If the Texans had drafted first, they would've taken Young. I feel like many other teams would've passed on Bryce if he was the option. Given the Bears position last year, if Bryce was surefire, they would've kept the pick, traded fields, and drafted Young. The fact they didn't is very telling.

Why are you so hostile Mr Keyboard Warrior? You are in constant little debates in this thread and throwing insults aplenty. Calm down and relax chubs. Have your mommy make you some hot tea before bed tonight and take a deep breath, I promise it will all be okay in the end whether Bryce ends up sucking forever or becomes amazing.

If Penix is there at 33, you trade the pick desperate for someone who wants him or grab a day 1 starting Guard or speedy WR to help out Bryce. We need to give Bryce 1 more year. Worst case we are terrible again and go the complete opposite direction and get Shedeur Sanders the next year.

No.  We don't.

Say we choose Penix.  We now have two QB's.  SO WHAT!  If both succeed, we can still trade one and get a first plus more.  But chances are one of them fails.  Odds are it's Bryce.

It's all baloney anyway.  Penix isn't going to fall to 33.  He's the best QB in the draft, the only way he gets out of the top 5 is if people get scared of his injuries.  Bearing in mind he's played two complete seasons in a row now, with none.

cant believe taking a qb in the second round is even on the table.  Bryce gets sacked 7 times a game almost at will and you want to plug a fresh lamb into the slaughter?

Bryce averages less than four sacks a game. But hey, don't let your innumeracy get in the way of a narrative.

Yea, exactly.  If Penix is there we should take Penix.  The guy would be the top pick in the draft if people weren't wringing their hands about his injury history.

    • He talks way too much about his time in Seattle and Russell Wilson and how they built that team in 2012.   I won’t fall for any of it until I see them play for a year
    • Lol people like you are so silly and the only reason I seem to care to log on to post these days. How can you sit there and say Bryce was the reason Williams hurt his knee on that play. Maybe it's because you dislike Bryce so you are somewhat blind as to what actually happened? Not quite sure but maybe you should get your eyes checked. Williams hurt himself by trying to make a cut after spinning around to make that catch. Pause it at 3:24. Had he landed and ran like normal instead of going to plant his foot in the ground and make a cut he doesn't get hurt. Don't put that on Bryce. That was 100% Williams fault he got injured
