Boycott Losing ... Chris Harris

Seriously, guys... I'm not for it -- I'm absolutely NOT gonna stand for losing next season, and neither will the other guys on the team. We simply ain't gonna take it, because I know all of us can come together on the same level and make this motto really mean something.

if either of you know the real definition of what a "boycott" is you'll realize the title makes no sense to begin with

much better to say "losing is not acceptable" in this case. ...i don't know, either way, this will only be taken as just trying to blow sunshine up people's asses until we actually see a team playing with a renewed sense of vigor, control and motivation like we haven't seen during any of the games that mattered last season.

I wasn't really debating the definition of the word "boycott." I was merely saying that I find it ridiculous that so many fans dismiss spirited talk like this. Chris Harris just doesn't strike me as the type to "blow sunshine" up someone's ass. I think he's genuinely fired up, and who can fault him for wanting to motivate a fanbase or his teammates.

It's just typical Huddle mentality to see the negative in everything.

f**k yes.

What do you think he's going to say? "Boycott Jake Delhomme!" or "John Fox"? Wake up guys.

I am tired of a quiet team, I like to see this. You know Harris is going to step it up next year just watch. This is how great teams are created everyone is expected something of from their teammates. Kind of like the whole Beason/Peppers. It a sense more than 'just doing their job'. They all need to come together and work hard together, because they will have to play together to win together. He is sick and fed up with losing just like the fans. Believe it or not guys some players don't really care as long as they are paid. Sadly, to me that's what a 'professional athlete's' perspective is now days.

I am glad he is putting everyone on notice, I just hope it catches on and followed through.

I Believe 31 of the 32 teams has players that feels the way Harris feels right now. They're competitors first.... I have a family member by marriage who plays in the NFL... yes he gets paid $$$, but you can't say a word to him the day of a lost.....

So I believe him.... I just don't think it's anything other than ordinary.... I don't think that will have much effect on the outcome of next season... win or lose

    • You joke, but hasn't basically the whole team been in Charlotte this past week together? I'm not one to see the random dumb stuff players put out on social media in the offseason and think it means that's ALL they've been doing and not working on their game.  But it's a little strange that all this is coming out at the same time we're seeing tons of stuff with the team in Charlotte together, even if it's just working out and not even official team OTA's or anything. So he gets a pass from me saying anything now, but if he doesn't show clear improvement this season, it then opens him up to some retroactive criticism for some things.
    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
