Does Brian Burns Get Tagged?

I'm guessing that Burns gets tagged.  Not sure if anyone will give the picks for a franchise tagged Burns but it could happen.  A 1st this year would prolly do it.

There is zero reason to retain Burns if they're not going to have a true bookend to put on the other side of him. These rotational guys just aren't a big enough impact to be starters IMO.

Depends on the new GM. An ugly and possibly useless tag fight is not productive in improving the team. If the new GM can convince him to take the tag and find a partner then yes. If Burn's camp thinks it is worth a fight then it so much easier to say thank you and good luck while not looking like more of a trainwreck.

I have no idea why he would want to stay now unless they throw an epic contract at him. He would have already had a contract with the Rams and he has not forgotten that.

I honestly don't really care. My preference is tag and trade but I'm to the point of being fine with letting him walk too. Any option is a better option than meeting his contract desires.

When they didn’t trade him they tied their hands to keeping him..

This is honestly a death sentence for a player, especially when a team is not going to compete for anything

Burns burned me. I had his back all year and he end ended the season with those comments. Guy was about his money the entire time.

 

Now I have to sell my Burns jersey smh.
