What would the smart/good teams do? Let him walk get a comp pick next offseason

Yeah, when they have an established roster and can easily replace a player like him. Until we can prove we are competent enough to reload the roster in a meaningful way there's no point in letting what little talent we have walk away.

Give him Burns contract right?

Or is who overrated as well?

If he asks for 30 mil a year, let him walk. If someone offered 2 1sts and a high 2nd in trade, buh bye. Frankie is a baller and I'd love to keep him, as long as the Financials work out.

Good answer.

Some people like to move the goal post for certain players.

lol CMC/DJ is a great example of why you don’t let good players go for picks. He was one of the very few people on the team who brought the energy, played his ass off, and never quit even though we were the worst team in the league. He’s the perfect example of the type of player that you do not let leave.

People say this all the time but either way, he’s not getting that type of deal. The cap is an illusion and he’s not a player you would ever have to worry about not playing hard enough to earn the money. He was underpaid every year he has been with us. This is a dictionary picture perfect example player that you pay. He’s the best team leader we have other than Brown

The comparison was to Burns and the contract he was offered. I have no worries about Frankie at 4/45. I said halfway through the season he was outplaying Burns and should get paid. Not signing him last year was just another Scott Fubar.
