WR Corp drastically improved or not?

We need an actual pass catching RB but other than that yes, the offense should be miles better.

I still don't get why such a heavy % of the board isn't on board w/ the pass catching RB need.  And how a pass catching RB is much different than just throwing to a RB that isn't one.

It's definitely improved. They aren't going to be the best unit in the league, but they are leaps and bounds more talented than they were last year. Dionte and Thielen should hit the ground running, Mingo should be improved, and XL is a big play threat that just needs time to get adjusted.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this bunch.

You used an incredibly broad statistic, I explained why your statistic comparison was invalid. And proceeded to use a more specific example for my argument and explain its use case, I can go all day man. You clearly don’t know much about football and especially the NFL Draft. Just keep hating and making invalid arguments it’s funny to watch.

Shenault was great at adjusting to badly thrown deep balls in college my friend.

I really like Laube if youre looking for strictly pass catching rb and blocker and for chubba to take the carries.  Hes not my #1 back or anything but he will be available in the 5th and is really good at what we need and showed it off in the senior bowl as well.

Honestly, the oline upgrades are the biggest improvements to the WR corps. How many times was the QB hit at release and/or didn't have time to throw when he saw guys open? Inside pressure is kryptonite to every QB in the pocket.

Very, very rarely.

    • How many QBs hit from any school?  I've seen these arguments a lot but honestly so few even hit that it looks bad for most.  Recent history on UNC for example, Mitch bust, and Howell was at one time a 1st rounder dropped to 5th and is now on his 3rd team, so maybe the Pats shouldn't have drafted Maye?  Nah you never scout the school.  Even the ones you mentioned are outliers in their own schools.  Baker was dominated for a pretty dominate school, but I can't think of many Oklahoma QBs aside from him.  It takes so much for these guys to find success.  Clemson had Watson and then he fell off mentally, Lawrence isn't living up to his hype, Cade is struggling before he is even drafted, Whitehurst and Boyd never did anything, and Dantzler had to change positions.
    • Not gonna start a thread on this but AJ Brown seems pretty unhappy. I wonder if they lose a few games if they’d be willing to listen to an XL trade + a pick for AJ. Opens up cap space for them, and I do think XL could have a really solid role on that offense. TMac + AJ would be a top 5 WR corp
    • I gotta disagree with this. Shaq was a very good LB. He just stood in the shadows of two greats.  And this team has felt his loss from the injuries and now his moving on. We were better against the run with him here.
