Canes vs rags rd 2 game 4 Fuccck it

Ranger fan here. Before the playoffs started, i thought the 2 best teams in the conference were carolina and florida. Still do, I love carolnas style of play...love the coach. this series is 3-0 but 2 OT losses (one in double OT)...Canes could be up 2-1....series is very close...even tho its 3 zip....and i know coming from a fan of the team up by 3 that means nothing, eapecially after a second round sweep last year....but the canes are a great team, with a great coach and they just didnt get bounces.....rangers and igor playing as well as they have all year....but canes are formidable ....i can be the biggest **** ranger fan, like the rest of them, but canes are just in the wrong place, wrong time...i hope rangers close it out tomorrow....canes not a team i want to give any life to.....i still fear them......last thing, i was at the game 7 rangers won a couple years ago...your rink is LOOOIUUDDDD...so be proud!!

While I appreciate the sentiment. You won’t get much of it right now from us. We are just pissed off. Another year, another rod canes flameout by a sweep. We aren’t happy.  Wish you guys well….fuq your goal song and enjoy your ride home back to Cary 😜.  Joking of course…maybe 😉

Good to hear the perspective from another fan on how you rate the Hurricanes!! I am frustrated how Carolina has shifted their style it’s not working !! You guys got the best goalie in the league !! It’s been a tight series can’t hate on the hurricanes it’s just frustrating that we haven’t got a damn win!! Good luck tomorrow

Don’t read too much into it. A lotta frustrations right now on account the same damn problems have been popping up for the past 5 years. 
If the series was closer and we didn’t feel so down I doubt people would be as antagonistic. 
But here we are. Another year, another potential sweep and the Canes looking like a completely different team then they did during the season.

It really makes no sense how we are a completely different team in the playoffs. What are the coaches thinking, saying, doing that causes such a huge change? Do their game plans just go massively conservative? Are they telling their guys to conserve their energy? It does seem that way and that they also tell their guys to keep passing the puck and only shooting when they have an open lane. On the other hand, when we do shoot in bunches they are always in the chest of the goal tender and not good shots at all. I dont understand this team at all come playoff time. Its like everyone just gets dumb and thats 100% coaching.

      Hard to pass up millions for a couple of days work per week for a coaching gig in the NFL that is 60-80 hours each week during the season and a more relaxed 50 hours a week during the off season. Yeah, I'd love to see him as our DC but hard to see him giving up the cushy job there if he gets it. And he's going to be a great commentator for the network.

      Really, I think that is where negotiations come in. If you've got a QB getting you to 10 wins but statistically he's not a great performer, then you say look you can take $22 million or you can try it on the market. Because let's face it, out there, any leadership skills that we're seeing aren't going to be on the table, it's just going to be performance and that lands him in the QB2 market, which is much, much less lucrative (although any of us would love that money).  No one is saying that Bryce will be a $50 million QB, barring something short of a miraculous jump. I'm just saying that if we are winning somehow with him at the helm, then it would be fuging stupid to dive back into the rookie pool all over again. Let's say we do hit the 10 win mark, heck, let's call it 11 and a second round in the playoffs. I think we can all say that would be a really uplifting result and one that should be doable if we have good play. What do we do then? Here's what I would offer if I were Morgan and Tepper. $25 million a year for 3 years, each year with up to $10 million in incentives for touchdowns, wins, playoff depth, being under 10 interceptions, completing a full season, passing yardage milestones, taking less than 15 sacks. Look, Bryce isn't a Ferrari, he isn't a Corvette, or a mid-level BMW. He's probably a new Toyota Sienna that will definitely get you somewhere and bring the whole team along with it, no fuss but not a lot of pizazz.  And really, it's about the destination, not about what drove you there.
