Here's a chart of NFL teams. If you count the NBA and MLB, it gets a lot more crowded since some of those arenas/ballparks/stadiums are a lot older.

And here's a bit more general information for you, all cities have a diverse population and a poo ton of transplants.

Right, 13 near center City like I said. Now take into account most of if those are actually cut off from the rest of the area unlike Charlotte and have a similar population with not much else to bring in 50k to the city every home game and it's a fairly unicorn situation. Why is that hard for you to understand? It benefits Charlotte unlike other cities.

In his own words, their consultants told him it made more sense just to renovate.

he’s not doing this out of the kindness of his heart; he’s doing it because some dead eyed ghoul from Deloitte told him to.

Alright you talked me into it. String his ass up!

The NFL... it is not like it used to be. It’s gone way past making a buck and putting a product on the field.

When they take public tax dollars and funnel it back to a team the poor lose big time. They take people's money and give it to a multi billionaire. While he prices lower income people totally out of being able to afford to support the team by attending games. Good plan for the billionaire. And his people.

    • It's crazy with how much winning was going on when we had a little cool off period that we're still just a couple games out of 6th. Moussa is getting better every week and Coby is getting comfortable. Would be nice to get to 6 but I think this team is a lot more stacked than the last couple play ins. I can't remember the exact rules but if you're 7th seed and win the first game I think you automatically move on and don't have to play the second game?
    • I think it was a thing for sure. Panthers weren’t too many people’s first choice. Or 5th choice.  2022 and 2023… coaches fired mid season. Consecutive years. You want any of that?  He has definitely overseen a rehab of how the Panthers are perceived. Because we are a place that is seen as up and coming. And just the little thing of he accommodated Theilen so graciously, that gets noticed. It all adds up. Dan is doing a lot of things right, probably most things.  Needs a good draft.
    • K, I think that is dumb, but you do you. I didn't find anything online that made him out to be a dislikable person. I am certain the Panthers would have cared so much if they lost your fandom if they hired Sean Payton. But bet you would have come crawling back if Sean lead us to a Super Bowl victory or Golden leads UNC to a champion ship. It is easy to say you are gonna leave a team if the hire someone you dislike when the chips are down. But people like you tend to come crawling back once the team finds success.
