If icky fails, that's going make young chance of making it smaller.... as well. I've seen a couple of starting CBs go down across the league and here the Panthers are with horn and ________ . I know Dan can not fix all the problems in one off-season, just feels like he should got some insurance at CB...you know given horns injury history.

I've said it before too, loved brooks and had him as the top RB, but this panthers team was dumb spending a mid 2nd resource on RB.....one of the most de-valued groups league wide and just seen like 10 starters, some of which were top guys on FA market getting meh deals. With alllllllll the holes and issues, I mean sanders, Hubbard, blackshear and they even got former 1st round penny for pennies. Use that for CB, edge, C, LB, DT, or TE made much better sense. Hell even double up at WR made more sense. If you by some metric or beliefs thought you had to draft a RB, which is still insane......pick one in 5-7 where there have been recent success stories. Again Im was a big brooks fan, just thought the fit should not be in panthers plans given the massive amount of holes and depth across the team except at RB.......bloody hell....

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
