I think I’d rather have Darnold with JJ, Addison and Hockenson over Young and our weapons.

I know people in here say it’s over and to not think about it, but the opportunity to get Stroud or Williams (if we took the Burns deal we could have saved our 1st) will haunt us for some time until we have our Cam #2. I mean Cam #2 as our franchise QB not identical physically.

It's not over.  If Williams and Stroud are perennial pro bowlers, and Bryce doesn't get it together, the trade will go down as by far the worst in NFL history.  Herschel Walker take a seat.

He's like a more athletic Sam Darnold.  Much better runner obviously.  Probably a stronger arm.  Dude's got an absolute cannon.  But, they have similar issues in the pocket.

      Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.

      Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.

      Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
