On his worst throws, he was in a clean pocket with no one in front of him.  He just overthrows the receiver.  That is lack of accuracy, nothing else.  You can say he was broken if you want to.  But he has never shown anything in the NFL to show that he could ever have made it.

I hope it changes, but its just a truth that some look good in college when on dominant teams, but in the NFL, when the talent level is much closer, they just can't cut it.

He looks the same just against better talent all around him. He is a QB that is built to thrive in prevent D when he can roll out without pressure and get a decent throw off. He can't run to a gap in the oline anymore to launch a deep throw so half his game is gone at this level after his first few hits last year.

He's not it dude. And that's not even counting the circus that comes with him.

You worried about a circus but watching a qb that can't even throw for over 50 yds in a half....seriously  some of yall just need to stick to being fans who keep your opinions to yourselves because isn't a good look when you speak. Lol

I'd rather that for the next 2 years than the next 10

Start building the franchise right, we're still not at rock bottom yet because it's only Game 1 of Season 2 for Bryce.

Rock bottom is either at the end of next season if Bryce is the starter until then, or until he is replaced during the season next year by whoever the backup is.

It sucks, but it's just the facts of life for the Panthers right now.  We put ourselves here with the Bryce trade.

I suggest fans stop getting their hopes up, this isn't getting solved anytime soon.

You cannot build with this guy. You can’t evaluate offensive personnel, you got to get this guy out if he doesn’t improve this year.
use him this year.
This is week one, the team will be better it they have 16 more games to practice against NFL competition.

    • You joke, but hasn't basically the whole team been in Charlotte this past week together? I'm not one to see the random dumb stuff players put out on social media in the offseason and think it means that's ALL they've been doing and not working on their game.  But it's a little strange that all this is coming out at the same time we're seeing tons of stuff with the team in Charlotte together, even if it's just working out and not even official team OTA's or anything. So he gets a pass from me saying anything now, but if he doesn't show clear improvement this season, it then opens him up to some retroactive criticism for some things.
    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
