I’m sure the Bengals and their fans felt good about getting to 2-2 with Washington and Carolina on the schedule after an 0-2 start.

The panic button will be smashed when they leave Charlotte 0-4 Sunday.

31-24 Carolina

I can see us winning, but I'm also mentally preparing myself to be screwed by an NFL that doesn't want to see one of their golden boys (Burrow) out of the national conversation this early on in the season...

We will need to do enough to overcome what I expect to be at least 2-3 BS calls IMHO.

Hopefully, we run the ball and keep Burrow off the field as much as possible

I mean, he was last season too. Burrow has not ascended to "NFL protected" status.

The closest we have to that is probably Mahomes.

To show off her latest outfit? Try to be cougar-ish? Bryce needs a hug? There are always multiple guesses to be made.

Did anybody post that Diontae said Legette was taking Thielen's role?

If he has a tendency to be a vocal malcontent, guess what you do?

You make him the leader.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
