Jost cleared waivers and is now in Chicago so we’ve got our group.

Projected Lines:

Jarvis - Aho - Roslovic

Svechnikov - Kotkaniemi - Necas

Martinook - Staal - Carrier

Robinson - Drury - Blake

Slavin - Burns

Gostisbehere - Walker

Orlov - Chatfield

Kochetkov/Andersen

Injured - Lemieux

Injured Non-Roster - Stillman, Ryan

LTIR - Fast

Once Stillman is healthy he’ll be the 7th defensemen and Ryan will go down.

It's crazy i honestly don't think we downgraded in the D core....

Better scoring back their and slightly worse defense... (I'll catch flack for it but Pesce had declined 3 years in a row) picked up two 10 goal d men.

Bunting is the only guy we will miss in my opinion. In hindsight, I wish we never did the Guentzel trade because I really don’t think we would have been able to field a well-rounded team if we would have re-signed him.

As for where we are:

- I think Roslovic will seamlessly replace Teravainen.

- I think Robinson will replace Noesen and our fourth line will be one of the best in the league.

- Blake will really turn heads this year.

- Walker will be better than Pesce.

- Ghost will put up similar numbers to Skjei (though I’ll miss Brady).

- I do wish we had Bunting instead of Carrier but hopefully Carrier proves me wrong.

- Kochetkov becomes a top 5 goalie in the NHL this year.

Just a thought, with the hurricane coming tmrw and Thursday, game two is Saturday vs Tampa in Tampa, does that game get moved depending on damage?

Forgot game 2 was in Tampa. Heading down to St Aug for bro's wedding today. Went to check ticket prices...

    • Yeah, Walker from Wes and Walker radio show said something about this trade went through but Mark Williams couldn't pass a physical. I just shook my head. lol
    • UNC's football relevance has always basically been, "Hey, remember how great our basketball program is?" To extent that has worked but they have never been able to capitalize on that towards being a legit ACC power. The closest was Mack Brown 1.0 and that was stopped by prime Bowden FSU. TBH, they should have utilized all these resources they just poured into Belichick into, IDK, a legit college football coach? This is one of the more insane uses of that kind of money I have seen in CFB, which is no stranger to insane, irresponsible uses of money. The SEC and Big Ten have already shot themselves in the foot. The model they are operating on only works if TV revenues continue to go up. Well, demographics aren't working in their favor. Economics either, TBH. The NIL didn't change very much, if you notice. The haves still have and the have nots don't. The only difference between pre-NIL and NIL was the money being below the table and above it. College athletics has never at any point been about fairness. It's the most dramatically unequal system in all US atheltics. My only hope is that the collapse is swift, dramatic and most importantly SOON. I would like to see the rebuilding of this all to something closer to what it was 40-50 years ago. Regional and not such money grubbing nonsense.
    • Meh Dalton looks washed. He was good for at least 1 entertaining game a year but Im not sure he even has one of those left at this point. His game style and old age hasn't been a good combo IMO.  Not going to compare him to Hooker because Hooker is another longshot to ever be worth a #2 spot. At least he isn't Plummer I guess. Young better stay healthy or they could go backwards in wins with those 2 options this year.
