This is Depressing as Hell

All these dudes may be gone next year besides Wallace and Horn

Injuries suck but how can you be critical of these guys?  We had little talent to begin with and the starting unit has been decimated.

im impressed with what they’ve been able to do.  I like the Horn/Jackson combo.  Wallace has shown to be a tackling machine.  The D-line is nothing but depth pieces.

We just have to take our lumps this year.  It is what it is.

Cool. I hope this pushes us to go all defense the next draft. Luckily this is a great draft to do it.

I know injuries happen but we seem to have a high number every year..... is it a conditioning thing?

With the restructure I imagine Tuttle is back. Save about 3 million if cut him but doubt we can even get a solid depth piece at that price. Also Mike Jackson makes 1.2 mil this year. He’s played better than his pay. Wouldn’t hate another 1yr with him at 4 mil if he keeps playing like this.

Back in camp we thought the defense might actually be decent or at least serviceable this year. Unfortunately they were no longer able to square off against Bryce Young and had to actually face real quarterbacks. Reality sunk in quick.

It is what it is we always knew we had to eventually just rebuild that side of the ball from pretty much scratch. We should have already begun doing it. But some people thought we just needed to "retool". Start the damn rebuild.

Yeah good thing Bryce is getting them prepped on the scout team every week lol. How can you even evaluate that

Woods has been solid for us too, but overall I see definite upgrades at EDGE x 2, NT, DE, NB, LB, SS, and CB 2

So basically the entire defense. 

My ideal lineup going into next year would be

DE- Brown

NT- new player

DE- Robinson

Edge 1 Clowney/Rookie Backup 2-3 rd round

Edge 2- High draft pick Rookie

LB- Wallace

LB- Rookie/Jewell/Shaq

CB 1- Horn

CB 2- Jackson/Rookie 2nd or 3rd round pick

S- rookie/FA

S- Woods

Jackson, Horn and Woods could start on several teams. Horn could start on at least 75%.
