Good job on the team on extending the right guys. Paying brown big money was worth it and Chuba is the hardest worker on the team so it's 100% deserved. This helps build the culture of if you work hard, you will be rewarded vs dionte johnson complaining in post-game interviews. Dan and Brandt Tillis have done a good job on choosing who to sign and getting talent, but this team is so far behind the rest of the NFL in overall talent so it's gonna take some more time before we see the results but there's reasons to be excited about the future of this team.

In a vacuum I like the deal and think he's definitely earn it. I have a hard time squaring the extension with using a 2nd round pick to take the first RB off the board just 7 months ago though. Maybe Canales and Morgan see the 1-2 punch of Hubbard and Brooks as their version of Detroit's Montgomery/Gibbs combo though. I think Hubbard has shown he's a back in the same caliber as Montgomery, now it's up to Brooks to see if he can the type of dynamic threat Gibbs is.

Good decision. We don't know if Brooks will be a good RB in the league, so locking down the RB that has actually performed well despite the shitshow around him is a no brainer, and it's a reasonable contract too. If Brooks is the real deal then we have a 1-2 punch at RB again.

      AR was never ready to be the opening day starter, just like Bryce. These rookie QBs are rushed into service when they really need time to develop and learn without the pressure of being the immediate team savior. I liked AR with the right HC, not Frank, and always thought he'd need some time to get up to the NFL speed and competitive level. He probably would have learned over the course of the year that running repeatedly into NFL defenders as a QB is a recipe for a short career. Cam was the exception, not the rule.

      It’s like posting with myself haha. For those that know…   boys, it’s the canes vs Florida for the next three years. We all know these two teams will see eachother again in the ECF 2-3 three years. It’s going to be fun.
