If Bryce turns into 1st 2 games Bryce then I get the move to Dalton.

If not, let Bryce finish out the season to see if the growth is linear or over

Canales realizes there's a real chance Bryce takes a massive step back in one of the upcoming games vs big time defenses like the Chiefs and Eagles.

Whoever gives us the best chance to win...

Right...the fans that love bryce have already said it's about winning now since we have scrapped together 2 in a row. So if that's the case you play whoever gives you best chance to win Right? Contradiction just flying all over the place.

I honestly didn't believe they were able.

I got to add, this feels like Morgan has already had non-BY plans for 2025. For me it feels like Dave, Dan, and even Evero had meetings and all three came to same conclusion- "BY is not it". Dan has drop hits about size, dawg, traits, allllll don't help BY future.

props to them, cause I thought would carry over into 2025. Get the 4th rounder and sign a drew lock or fields or both. Dave himself and his BFF OC hit the highway and find some mystery QB worth a mid-round pick(Rocco Becht, Jaxson Dart, Kurtis Rourke, etc etc)

Even if you don't find a QB, just build the team and a QB will find you.....just like Jake!!

I think that contingency was set early on. Canales was doing and saying the right things.  Had to. They gave the QB weapons and a good line but it has not translated for Young.

Silver lining is, the offense can be friendly to a young QB but doesn’t necessarily have to be the one on the roster.

Hopefully the damn plan is to trade bryce, sign a vet, draft a young guy and for fugs sake let him sit for 8, 10 17 games.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
