We are getting crazy liberal with this whole "legends of the game" thing. I mean, calling Kurt Coleman a legend is a stretch but at least the guy was a legit starter. But Rod Smart? C'mon...

Agreed,  but man I loved me some fat boy Mike Tolbert. Would be dope to see him be one to me. If they plan on doing this every home game they will have to continue to be liberal with the word. Me and Mario Addison over lapped at Troy Aswell so would love to see him do it too.

But hey, @hehateme welcome back. We really do appreciate your part in our history. Made for some fun times.

We're 3-8, bro. Letdown game? LOL

Well, we won two straight and then had an optimistic performance against the Chiefs. The trajectory has been going up and so the odds are that we're crashing back to the ground again. Same old Panthers.

But I obviously would rather be proven otherwise.

He has a big following while in Carolina and was well loved by the fans. Also still around in NC so it's easy to get him back. Legend in a sense of breaking records may not be the only thing they mean by "legend". Plenty of players in history were legends in fans eyes but not record breaking legends.

In some ways, He Hate Me was a bit of a Panthers legend haha.  I think my issue is using the legend term, not the players they're highlighting.

He's an XFL legend. He was a bottom of the roster NFL player. People remember him because of the XFL.

    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
    • Also maybe the biggest part is his fromer college buddy, Lord Lamar told the GM to sign him. It was done nearly right after and guess who was the first person Alexander met at ravens stadium??
