Can they keep this Sunday close too?

No matter what happens, I'm just hoping for another solid, promising performance from Bryce against the #1 defense. If he throws 1-2 TD without any INTs or big mistakes then we know this is the real Bryce. They will probably be up 1-2 scores early and I hope he just doesn't try to be the hero and make silly mistakes and it ruins his confidence again.

I expect it to be a close game, but we will end up losing because we can't stop Barkley.

That said, Barkley traditionally doesn't do well against the Panthers. In two games, he has only averaged 60 yards on 18 attempts, but that was with the Giants.

We've historically kept star RBs in check only for their backup to come in and shred us. Although the run D is exceptionally bad this year

This is about as lopsided as it gets for us. Maybe even more than the Chiefs. Any hope for a game close enough for the refs and Chuba to screw us?

Man, lay off the Chuba hate.  Dudes been busting it all year and dip-sh!ts just want to sling crap wherever.

Ref’s maybe…..

Most inopportune time for a fumble, but we should have never have even made it to OT.

Dude, it was a joke... But he will go down for blunder of the year for this team. Just can't happen again in a situation like that

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
