Bills have all three timeouts. They could just pass from here and maybe stop the Rams one last time.

Never mind.

Joe Brady is a moron. Don’t care how well you’ve done this year, you just called a play that means you have a 3% chance at an onside kick. Makes no sense to call that. Basically took away any chance to win.

The NFL has sh-t all over the onside kick 😕

Yeah, they got a just do away with it and replace it with something else. I've seen it floated to do like a 4th and 15 or 4th and 10 conversion instead of an inside kick. If I remember correctly the math works out to where 4th and 18 is roughly equal to the old onside kick success rate.

Sam Darnold may have had the game of his career today 79% completion percentage, 347 passing yards, 5 Passsing TDs 0 INT. Jeeesus

They would be stupid not to pay Sam.  But no idea what they will do with JJ McCarthy. I'd trade him.

Financially it makes sense to move on from Sam and go with McCarthy next season but Sam Darnold has absolutely balled out.  Maybe they could get away with not having to pay him a mega contract because of Sam's career before Minnesota. But if it turns into a bidding war someone definitely could give him a mega contract.

As of right now he's the biggest free agent this off season and it's not even close.

Until the rigged flags start coming out.

I hate watching the Chiefs play because you know some bullpoo calls are coming.

Less of a need with the Chiefs having a bit of a cushion for home field now with the Bills losing today. The NFL also very much wants the Chargers in the playoffs

    • Honestly I haven no idea what I would have even done last night, Edgecomb was the most realistic option to improve our team
    • He doesn't have the athleticism to play in the NBA. He had the worst numbers of anyone who worked out in this draft. He's legitimately the least athletic player in this draft, which is saying something.   His ceiling is Kyle Korver, with his lack of athleticism he's more likely to be out of the league in 5-6 years like Jimmer Fredette.
    • Well, he was in probably every NBA franchise's top 6 or 7. Obviously it's nice to take the swing and it work out. But when a guy refuses to work out for your team, is probably the guy refusing to play with LaMelo, has sketchy handlers, etc.? You want...to take that swing? A desperate team does, sure. Which the Hornets are. But a smart team doesn't. Which is what they will hopefully become.  Kon isn't a superstar, but his floor is Kyle Korver. Is that what you want in the 4th pick? Not really, but he's your 4th guy on a good team and what I think Charles Lee wants in a player.  Trade down would've been nice, but for who? Tre Johnson would've been my guy, but he's gone if we trade with Brooklyn. If Washington wanted Ace, I doubt it would've taken much to come get him. Trade down and get Maluach (knowing you're trading Mark) would make sense and may have been the play, but I think Kon helps the team on the court and changing a culture. Not so sure about some of the guys in the 8-12 range.
