One of the highest drop percentages?

Yes, among qualified WRs.  Going into the game he was 14th among WRs with 100 snaps.  2 or 3 drops today, whatever the PFF officially marks him for, will likely push him into the top 10 if not top 5.  And the WRs ahead of him are mostly scrubs.

Is it?  He had one of the highest drop %s in the NFL coming into this game and had 3 drops this game.  Even if we don't blame him for the first one (and I would agree we shouldn't fault him for that), that is still 1 too many drops for a 1st round WR.

I'm not saying he won't ever get better, although I doubt it.  But right now?  In this very moment?  He is a bad WR.

OK, 17th. I guess you could say that's high. He needs work on the jugs for sure.

Imagine playing one of the best teams in the league with the best defense on the road and having the game winning touchdown dropped and blaming the qb

Some people just dont have the capacity to admit when they’re wrong and would rather drag it out as long as possible.

I mean you can't compare him to RBs.  Among WRs he's 11th on that list and guys like Nabers and Lamb get way more targets than Legette, so it makes sense they would rank high in drops.  Drop % is a better number to look at for that reason.

I don’t know how drops are officially categorized but I counted 5 today. 4 if you want to say that first drive should not have counted cause he got hit hard, even tho it hit him in both hands.

that just isn’t sustainable to move forward with as your #1

We actually had two drives to score the potentially game winning touchdown and we squandered both.

Some people want to find scapegoats. I'm just encouraged our head coach had us in position to even possibly win this one more than once on the road against the Eagles. That gives me hope going forward. Now we just need to add more pieces.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
