Oh boy, yet another hot take.

How about this?

We stuck with one of the best teams in the league and had a shot to win it in the end. We didn't but there's a crapload of bettors that just lost a ton of money vs. the spread.

We're playing for next year right now and rookie WRs have games like this.

Y'all loved the heck out of him when he was riding Dolla Dolla Bill in the end zone. He'll do that more in the future.

It's not another hot take.  Most people agree he has terrible hands and is not dependable right now.

he can and probably still will develop into a good player

but you consider the kind of QB Bryce is, playing the game with his head, you mesh that with how much synergy he has with Adam theilen, who plays with the same awareness, and you wonder why they didn’t like Ladd McConkey more.

Paging @tukafan21

If Tmac is not available I still think we need to take the next best WR. So who else is on your board at WR besides Tmac?

There's no good answer here

I've said numerous times I'm not touching Hunter even if he's there, and Burden is the next up in the draft, but he's a slot WR and not worth a Top 5 pick anyways, no way I'm taking him there (and if I'm trading back, I'm not doing it to take a WR, it's to get additional draft picks and taking an edge rusher at a draft slot that makes sense for the prospect).

Not a fan of taking ANOTHER 2nd round WR and hoping they pan out, I'd say to target someone like a DK Metcalf who the Seahawks might not want to give a new contract to, but not like we have the right assets to even make a serious offer as there is no way in hell I'm giving up future 1st round picks.

Overpay for Higgins?  Even though I really don't want to use our cap room on offense.

Go another year without a true #1?

That feels like the final answer unfortunately

    • Good, our ST is almost as bad as our ILB depth!
    • With two starters on expiring contracts (Moton + Corbett) as well as a few back-ups (Christensen, Mays, and Nijman), the Panthers are likely going to have to reinvest in the OL after this coming season. Icky's fifth-year option was picked up by the team this offseason while Lewis and Hunt both remain under contract then (though Lewis' deal is set-up in a way that would let Carolina move on from him then as well). I think that the team is going to be looking at investing a premium pick at RT should Bryce's development continue, and might even look to double dip at the position in order to have a swing tackle that can also kick inside when needed. There's also the question of starting center... Prospects I'm watching this upcoming college season... Centers Jake Slaughter (Florida) Iapani Laloulu (Oregon) Connor Lew (Auburn) Logan Jones (Iowa) Parker Brailsford (Alabama) Connor Tollison (Missouri) Bryce Foster (Kentucky) Pat Coogan Notre Dame) Raheem Anderson (Michigan) Carson Hinzman (Ohio State) RTs Francis Mauigoa (Miami) Kadyn Proctor (Alabama) Spencer Fano (Utah) Gennings Dunker (Iowa) Blake Miller (Clemson) Isaiah World (Oregon) Caleb Tiernan (Northwestern) Monroe Feeling (Georgia) Earnest Greene III (Georgia) Monroe Mills (Louisville) Charles Jagusah (Notre Dame) Tree Babalade (South Carolina) Trey Zuhn III (Texas A&M) Nolan Rucci (Penn State) Tristan Leigh (Clemson) Fernando Carmona (Arkansas) JC Davis (Illinois) Riley Mahlman (Wisconsin) PJ Williams (SMU) Tosh Baker (Notre Dame) Aki Ogunbiyi (Texas A&M) Courtland Ford (Kentucky) Ethan Onianwa (Rice)
    • I watched documentary on the 2010 Auburn season and Cam wasn’t included in that either. I think he just doesn’t care for these things
