The jury is still out, but I think that we're going to give Bryce another go at it in 2025. Honestly, he's done nothing but earn it since his ass was freed from the bench.

Still, he's not a franchise-tier QB and never will be in Carolina -- no matter how cool it'd be for that to happen. He's deserved a win these last two weeks and has been let down by his teammates, but I still expect a 3-4 INT game every week. Maybe it's PTSD, maybe it's just been the inevitable being staved off, maybe I don't want to be optimistic because this team thrives on letting down those who are.

Get a guy who can challenge him for the starting job next year.

I’m optimistic. I thought we would see this version of Bryce at some point last season, and we didn’t. 
 

I do worry about him regressing and going backwards. I think next season there needs to be somebody else in the #2 role for many reasons.

1)If he falls back we have somebody to depend on 2) this person could provide some type of push to prevent complacency 3) In typical Panthers fashion, our luck would be for Bryce to turn it around and then lose him to injury for the year.

Most of the OL and Hubbard have all been playing better than Bryce the last few weeks

And it's not to bash his play over that time, it's obviously been better, but better than before doesn't mean he's been playing amazing either, he's been serviceable.

Bryce Young is definitely looking like a different Qb here what the past month or so now. however, at the same time with that said that does not mean I think BY looks like he will develop into an elite Qb in the NFL  .Sam Howell looked decent at times in the past but I never thought Sam Howell would one day become or turn into an elite Qb neither  

...just saying I see Bryce Young more as of a Sam Howell type of Qb who will become a backup Qb or maybe reach his ceiling & become a Brock Purdy slash decent game manager type of Qb if you are able to of course at the same time surround him with elite talent on the offensive side if the ball

Honestly, benching him earlier in the year was the best thing that could have happened to him. I think he has just experienced success all through his life and got comfortable thinking that even if he plays like ass, he will still be the starting QB. After getting benched, I think that was the wakeup call he needed that he can't half ass it and make it in this league.

Glad he has made me eat crow the past few weeks and hopefully he keeps getting better and better.

He’s really Drew Brees like…stats are very close at this point in their careers and Bryce is more mobile.  I think he’s going to be the MVP in a few years. Dude is head strong and knows the game. I think the benching was just a good reset as it was apparent he had the skills to succeed at this level.  Folks are so knee jerk and hellbent on the “next” guy is the guy.  No, Bryce is our QB barring injury, etc.  Draft for run defense and the Panthers should have a nice playoff run.

I love how saying I like how Young has been playing but he should have someone challenge him for the job next year gets pooed by a bunch of weirdos, but those same weirdos are good with posts saying Young is barely serviceable. There are some fans here who in their own way mean well but are so emotionally driven they use the poo reaction as a tool for personal retribution rather than what it's actually meant for. Which is to be generally reserved for truly vile posts. Eventually they will lead to it being removed and then they'll really be pissed.
