I understand it, they’re wrong, but I get why some people don’t see him as a star. 
He’s not a “big play” guy.  He doesn’t have break away speed.  He’s not shifty or elusive and he’s not a bruising power back. 
Hes just good.  Hard nosed, consistent, lunch pail, grind it out back.

That won’t appeal to some fans but I fuggin love that poo.

This was me first few games of the season and he proved me oh so very wrong. Dude is a fuggin dawg I hope we have him injury free in his prime another 2-3 years

Chuba did have oven mitts, but he was never JAG. I've said it for years. He was solid when we didn't have a line. I said, it would be nice to see what he can do behind a real line? Now we know.

Chuba is not a game changer or breaker but he has become a complete back. He runs downhill and hard. 

He can now catch the ball.

He can block.

And he has a constant running motor even after getting paid. 

I was one of those that thought his first few years he was a jag. But he has grown and impressed me and I'm happy the panthers signed him to an extension.

He doesn't have the size of a big bruiser, although his running style is very blunt. He has great balance and vision.   Which is the most important things in my eyes to ANY running back.  He's not fast, yet he consistently breaks 10 plus yard runs. 20 plus yard runs.  

The dude is a load. Add to the fact he can catch out of the backfired.

This is a back you absolutely build an offense around.

He still needs help. 

Can never ever have enough good running backs.

What I really like about Hubbard is if the hole isn't there he puts his head down and makes one. Several times yesterday it looked like he was going to get dropped for a minimal gain and he grounded out extra yards. That type of play opens the entire playbook.
