I honestly think people defend him this hard because he looks like a middle schooler🤣🤣

I don't remember Cam Newton getting this level of protection.

Cam Newton was the most scrutinized player of the last 2 decades.  And it started before he played a down and never stopped.

I've conceded Bryce is the QB for the foreseeable future.  And what we are presently seeing, is basically the dude we drafted.  A game managing point guard attempting to grow and be better at that.

Bryce Young simply doesn't have the tools to be playmaker.  That's not what he is.  We will have to slowly acquire playmaker for him to distribute the ball to.

Hopefully that plan leads to a the creation of a solid football team and when we reach that point....then most likely will then have to go find a QB to plug into that.

The grudwn interview was cringe

Media figured out at Auburn what types of clicks they can make off of Cam and it never stopped.

A towel on the head!!!!!!!!! Unhappy after a loss. Meanwhile Tom Brady out there throwing temper tantrums that by 4 year old was taking notes on.   Competitive drive.

The answer to what, exactly?

I'm happy for him and the team. He played pretty well overall. And a 3TD day should always be celebrated.

I'm still of the mind we need some competition in camp for him next year.

Competition is always good to have. He should have never been handed the job from day one. Even as the number one draft choice. He would have benefitted from watching instead of getting beat down that first year.

This. And I'm just trying to understand it. Who else has a o line this good?  He had 6 more yards passing then chuba had rushing yards, a lot of points came off turnovers and short field. So is he only a franchise qb when we can run the ball? Cuz that's all it's really been.

Last year people were saying he is too slow and can't get away from the pass rushers. Take a good look at the first two games of this year. Seems he is not afraid to tuck and scoot now. Now the rushers can't just pin their ears back because if they give him a lane he is gone.

No one in their right mind looks at how Bryce has performed since coming back and thinks we need to drop another first round pick on a QB in the upcoming draft.

If you're watching the games, and you should be, you can see that we need help on defense more than anything else right now. Bryce is showing incredible growth as a QB and I wouldn't stop that growth right now when Edge, LB and DT are so desperately needed.

I haven't seen any suggestions to do that. The QBs aren't of that caliber. Saying Young is limited isn't suggesting we reach on a QB its just acknowledging he's limited

Bryce is playing well and looks like the guy scouts thought he could be. Feels good to know that QB1 isn't a need going into the offseason. The WR and TE rooms are going to get a soft reboot, but I don't expect many changes to the offense over the summer.

I so agree. I would love to see a WR1 drafted but I would take the Graham out of Michigan over Carter of Penn State. Carter didn't show me much against SMU.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
