Losing by 14 or more will clinch the worst point differential in franchise history.

Panthers were -212 in point differential in 2010.

They are currently -199 in point differential (worst in the NFL this season by far! Cleveland is 2nd worst at -177 and their season is over)

So unless the Panthers post a 23 point win (I’d bet my life savings that doesn’t happen today) the Panthers will have the worst point differential in the NFL and if they lose by 14 or more points to the Falcons, will clinch the worst point differential in the franchise’s history.

Despite some bright spots at points this season, the team is still garbage. Tepper ruined this franchise. I can’t wait to see the next sterling example of ineptitude this franchise shows us next season.

Allowing 34 points will clinch the most points allowed in NFL history.

Would be nice if the O scored more points too.

Our offense averages 18.6 points per game, good for 25th in the league this year. Not great.

worst offense ever? 7.4 ppg. Over 11 points per game difference.

our defense? 31 ppg. Good for 32nd (by a lot)

worst defense ever? 32.5 ppg by the 2020 lions.

Plenty of defenses with players that you’ve never heard of. Miami’s no name defense in the 70s when they went undefeated?

He has at least one pro bowler so hard to call this squad the worst roster in nfl history.

This man went back half a century. Nobody on the panthers roster nor the head coach was even alive when that defense was around.

    • I think he's gone, and rightfully so, if he turns in another losing record. The "talented roster," regardless of how true or not, is a double-edged sword. If the roster is so much improved now from 202X then why are you still producing losing seasons? On one hand, maybe that's what needs to happen. Have the GM hire the new coach, and then have the new coach pick his guy to run his system. That is typically how it works in the NFL. Not the forced inheritance deal we have had in place.
    • Hinging on Brooks to be our spark...be good if it happens... but not holding my breath....RB next draft. Morgan gambled...it would be a 2 year payoff if thing happened.
    • Only way Canales is fired is if we are attrocious everywhere....  defense /special teams and offense..  There are enough "questions" on if BY9 is the guy that ownership wouldn't fire the coach for "just" mid qb play.  Especially with as talented a roster that has played "well enough" to win some tough football games and hang in there against the top tier of the NFL ...(mostly).   Now total team suckage..yeah .. but I don't see that happening.
