I hate it for her but love it for me. Jerry already has the big tent, he just needs a clown to draw in the crowd for the show.

It's kind of like the old Faces of Death movies. You know it's going to be bad. But there's just something about it that makes you sit down and watch it just to see how awful it's going to be.

And I will be laughing every minute of it.

Deion in Dallas would be amazingly entertaining especially if the sell out to trade up for Shedeur and then draft Shiloh on the 2nd. Let's just go full bore nepotism and watch it all play out. LOL!

mcshay just did a great podcast of how that would play out.  Dieon would just tell teams he aint playing for anyone else so a team would either draft shedeur and hold him for ransom or they would have to trade up.  Not sure what a viable option would be for Dak as he literally just signed a huge deal

I think the NFL would do everything in their power to try and convince Jerry not to hire Deion for this exact reason.

If you have a QB prospect that many think should be drafted in the Top 3, tell teams he will refuse to play for them if they draft him, because his dad was just named HC of a team drafting #12 and they strong-arm teams into not drafting him so he falls to his dad's team, it's going to create an ugly situation for the league to deal with.

Yes, I realize it would be a pretty unique and one off situation, but if/when it works, what would stop players from starting to do the same and refuse to meet with and/or play for teams they just don't want to play for?

Especially with NIL these days and many of the top QB's coming into the league already as millionaires, it will give them even more ability to say they are willing to sit out a year to re-enter the draft than play for a team they don't want to go to.  All it takes is for it to work one time, and then the next player to try it will make teams too afraid to draft them and risk losing out on their 1st draft pick for the year.

Who knows, rumors are rarely valid….

Ben Johnson may be favoring LVR because he could start from scratch (and bring Hooker with him who knows his offense) Wild idea, doubt it’s credible though but never know.

I had a crush on Hooker.  Rather than ‘go get your guy’, I was content to take Hooker in the late first or early second.  Interesting that Johnson wants to bring him to LVR.  He must see something in Hooker.  Time will tell if he is starter material or just a placeholder who knows the offense until someone better can be brought in.

If the Raiders hire Johnson and add Hooker, I can say goodbye to my dream of us drafting T-Mac.

The Raiders really could go in any direction with their pick as they need so many things, but if they bring in an offensive guy like Johnson and then trade for an unproven QB, they need to help set him up to succeed in year 1.

Yea, an OT could help there too, but if they do that, with their WR room being so weak, giving Hooker two weapons like T-Mac and Bowers would be great combo for a young QB to have at his disposal that I can't see them passing on him if he's there.

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
