It's been said quite a bit.

There was also a slew of "Williams is not a generational talent" stories too, and a lot of it apparently had to do with his floor.

But the framing of those arguments are that it was a given that he was widely considered generational, and they're pushing back on that.

I don't think he was considered by many in the same class as Luck and Lawrence... But I could be wrong.

Not sure how Caleb was labeled back then has much relevance in the now. What I see was a QB that got sacked 68 times and whether how much of that was on him versus the protection, if Ben Johnson and company doesn't find a way to address that, whatever they try to do is likely not going to work.

The second list seems legit. Caleb was considered a very good prospect, don't get me wrong. But no, not at Luck's level and not on Lawrence's level. A step below those guys. The first list is embarrassingly laughable with late 1st round picks included because they turned out to be great QBs. Obviously they weren't considered elite QBs going into the draft hence why they were drafted when they were.

If you read it he explains the list is his pre draft grades.

      That CB has missed the last 2 full seasons on IR and was bad when ge played his first season. Hes 5'9" 177 lbs. Why?
