Free Agents NTs: I'm hoping we get DJ Jones and bring him home.



We have to be getting one of these guys right? RIGHT? I Know they "claim" EJ "likes" undersized NTs for his scheme but I'm more apt to believe that Tuttle was just the best they could get with all the dead money and EJ was just saying he could scheme with an undersized NT not that he prefers it. In what world would you "prefer" your 3-4 to not have a traditional NT? Makes no sense to me but I feel it is honestly the biggest weakness on the team, moreso than Edge or #1 WR but getting one of these NT's in FA fixes it.

Similar stats but twice the run defender at the same position. Would help a lot.

DJ Jones makes $10M AAV Shy Tuttle... $9.4M AAV, he has GOT to go. Cutting Tuttle would save $6.5M on the cap, then go pay what you have to to a real NT so we can stop the run next year.

I'm still on team trade back to late teens and pick up an additional 2nd round pick.  I'll take Jalon Walker as an Edge along with Dani-Dennis Sutton.

Walker is one of my guys after the first round. He and Harold Fanin Jr. I think are going to be very good from that non-first round group.

Unfortunately Dani Dennis Sutton just committed to next year at Penn State

Fantastic thread, Thank You. Unfortunately Tuttle was a bust this season and not having Derrick Brown hurt. Asking a rookie to play starting NT in the NFL is not real successful. Milton Williams from the Eagles would be a nice option.

Yeah he's a dude.  Everything I've read on him sounds like he's ready to make noise in the league too.  Seems like a real grinder.  Team captain too.

I think we need a new DT (NT) and a 3T as well--both need to be starters.  I see A Robinson as rotational at this point in his career.  There are some good DL in the draft--but you dont want 2 rookies--one FA, one rookie, in my view.

If they went DE in rounds 1 AND 2, I’ll wear my 2003 Morgan jersey EVERY game next year. Hell, I’ll even wear it at work on draft day.
