1. Conversations with Mike McCarthy and the Saints didn't go well.  No one was "enamored" with him.

2. Kliff Kingsbury decided to stay with the Commanders instead of trying to jump into a dumpster fire like the Saints.

I think this is possible.  Except I would build the OL and WR room.  I would play Rattler next season.  I would have to offense ready to go for a rookie QB.   Defensively, I would cut big contracts. If this is what I was planning to do, that is.

Kingsbury may fancy himself as the next Ben Johnson. Not so sure about that.
