Between D.E Carter, Pierce Jr. and Walker only one will be worth a damn.

Will Johnson will be mid.

Both top 2 qb's will bust, Ward first.

Graham is solid like Luke like sure fire.

Burden will have a much better career than Tet.

I say take Mike Green! Run over a fellow first round tackle n just say, that's enough. Let's go home.

How bout your hot takes?

I think Mike Green, TJ Sanders and Jayden Higgens will be high on our boards i do think Morgan likes Senior Bowl standouts

Think that guy was so pizzed off because they hated his measurables and were dropping him down that that he dominated for two days and said F off. You don't deserve my small hands!

that senior bowl practice rep is getting way too much hype

for starters, as I mentioned in the shrine thread, it was that pointed out after the first practice that he had been working at trying to show that move off all day and couldn’t quite pull it off. The reprimand was that he needed to focus on what he did well. Then he went out the following day, pulled it off, and immediately shut himself down for the game. It’s kind of odd.

secondly, those one on ones are an OL drill. The defense is there, but they have a fraction of the responsibilities they have in a game. They aren’t playing gap control, they aren’t making sure the QB doesn’t bounce, they aren’t playing the screen. It’s every bit of juice and energy they have just to do the comparatively simple thing of getting around one guy with a pretty generous book on how they can go about it. It’s up to the OL to acclimate and the ones that do really stand out because they are entirely disadvantaged.

The Senior Bowl rep is what got casual fans hype.

Folks that are interested in the scouting process have been following him since the mid-season at the latest. He was filling up stat sheets the way Laiatu Latu did last season, and consistently dominated against the smaller schools.

    • Getting away from them. Young team gonna have to learn to finish it they want to take the next step

    • If all you're looking at is his season yardage statistics, then sure, they won't look great, but look a little deeper and the production is clearly there on the field... As an UDFA,  the teams #3 WR, and poor QB play, he had 478 yards in only 11 games.  If he had that average over a 17 game season he would have had a 738 yard season as an undrafted rookie.   This past year he missed the start of the season and clearly took time to get back to form once he was back.  But remove his first 4 games getting back to form, and over the final 7 games he had a per game average that would have been a 796 yard season over 17 games. 796 yards this past season would have been 34th in the league overall, and 27th best for a WR.  And that was all before he went and dropped a 134 yard game in the playoffs.   Pretty sure that's pretty darn good production for a 2nd or 3rd option, no? So again, I think it's wildly unfair to say we only have 1 WR, as if Coker plays a full season this year, he should be good for 800-1000 yards, even with T-Mac next to him getting 1,200+ himself. This is why I don't at all see the need for drafting a WR in the 1st this year, not while still having XL, Horn Jr, and I guess Metchie even though I'm not at all sold on him.  Draft a speedy WR in the 3rd or 4th and/or sign a vet (is DHop still out there?) to play in the slot this year, and use that 1st on a position of more need.
