Due to our shitty drafting Morgan has to throw more darts at the board, albeit they are expensive darts but he has to be hoping 2 hit or more hit.  I wish we could get into a spot where its reversed and we are not signing guys on need but luxury

All of this^^^. Nailed it.

From a Chiefs fan...

For all you Panthers fans new to Turk, he's an undersized DT from a small school that has positional versatility and a solid motor. He's intelligent, quick/fast but he won't wow you with power. Good rotational piece in pass rushing situations.

Sounds like a Panthers starter to me. He will be good enough in rotation. Much better than what we had before.

That does not sound like 16 18 million per type of player...... he sounds a UDFA that flashed some, wait a minute.....

Ouch...glad to have him but that is WAY high.  18 per?  KC fans love the guy and he is ascending as well but 18 per is nuts

I don't think that had much to do with his injury tbh first quarter of the year he had played like 2 quarters including pre season in 7 months

Not even talking about the cumulative affect over a season. It's game to game. Big guys need breathers during the course of a game. Especially with how horrible our offense was. They're attacking and dodging other mountains every single play. And then guys like Derrick out there chasing RBs 15 yards downfield. Can't have him out there all game.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup.
